This software rocks! Thanks GAOTD. I didn’t have any problem with the download like some are reporting and after completing a back up I should say that it is a much more complete back up than any other back up software I’ve used. I highly recommend!

I gotta say I am loving this program! They couldn’t have placed it on here at a better time! I was able to use Titan Back up to back up all of our Client Applications on to a web sever from a network drive!

Thanks for the tip from Seagate!!
I have a seagate or maxtor drive in almost every system I have.
The program works great and I’ll never have to worry about losing a program because of formatting.

That is my biggest pet peeve with this site. Yes the programs are nice, but if they can only be installed on one day, well, they’re pretty much useless IMHO. I come here for tips like this from informed users and sometimes to lead people to freeware versions.

I had commented in a support area that I was unable to download this program. There was an error message across the top of the page which I had copied and pasted in that support ticket. I tried to open the page with 3 different browsers, and they all showed the exact same message, so I believe it was this site’s problem, and not mine. Also, I had no such warning (error message) with any other website. At any rate, the reason I could not download the program is because there was no “download” tab anywhere. There was no link to move to a second page. Did others find this same problem as well? I’m hoping very much that you offer this again for the reason stated. Thank you GAOTD! You are the BEST!

For some this back up program might seem a good idea. I do not believe it is for the very reason that if it is not stored outside your computer then it is open for loss in many ways. The program that operates the back up must also be put on disc or you will not be able to use the backups.

You do not need a special program to do this because nearly all OS systems have a way of coppying to disc or another sourse. If the other source is another computer it should not be on the same network. If not on a disc then at least two backups should be made. Again outside the computer.

program just crashes when i start it, giving an “exception in code segment blah blah…”
probably one of those overprotected/packed programs which run on 98% of all computers only :(

I am quite late for this download and hope someone could help me with solving an unexpected error which states, “You do not have access to make the required system configuration nodifications. Plese rerun this installation from an administrators account.”

I have tried and had got the same result.

#42 & #53: Thank you for your comments, which I have found very useful. I always check the best possibilities for any software.

#57: You are right, that some people here attempt to “show their PC Muscle” (even then, some comments can be really useful). It is very easy however, comparing them with the real experts (I check no more than 2-3 “experts websites”, as truly reliable references), to tell their actual level of expertise, which is only at the user level. Most of their knowledge comes actually from what they have learned from other people.

I had version 1.2.0.4 installed and I installed the newer version 1.2.0.13. I used the same settings for installation location, start menu position,…

I started it and it ran perfect. I checked the about file and it says that I am running version 1.2.0.13, but the serial number is still the old one. I am going to change the serial number to the new one, but I would like to know why there has been a change at all if the old serial number works fine.
