the d/l included a readme and ~16MB of setup.exe
setup only runs gotd activation, but the other d/l (said to be ver 5.0, build 501) installs. i guess the reg in the readme succeeded.
now i wonder if i’ll ever find use for the app :-)

To our users who failed to find a place to input the registration information, it possibly because you have ever installed a registered version of Sothink SWF Quicker 3.x or 4.x on your computer.

Actually, it is a minor upgrade from SWF Quicker 3.x and 4.x to V4.7, therefore, the key to Sothink SWF Quicker 3.x and 4.x is also valid for V4.7.

In this case, the program you installed is already the registered version and it won’t require the registration information any more.

Moreover, we would like to inform you that this issue does not effect the usage of Sothink SWF Quicker V4.7.

SourceTec has never let me down! I have many of their programs, including SWFeasy, which is even better than this one for creating flash movies – but this is great for making quick flash slide-shows or banners…

Jess – you have probably clicked on the link to go to the developers site and downloaded from there.

Below there is a large “Download SWF Quicker 4.7 now” link followed by a “Mirror #1″ link – download one of those instead. The key is in the readme.txt

There is no txt file with password key info. Just a setup.exe where is the key?? Only an hour left to install.

#71. Try downloading 7zip and using that to unzip the file. This is a great program. I also enjoy using Sothink’s Web Video Downloader.

I’ve managed to install it fine but its asking for Flash Player ActiveX control version 6 or higher.
i couldn’t find that software. i have the newest flash pler installed and i’m using Vista 32-bit.
any ideas?

I can’t even open the file. Peazip is asking for a password just to unzip it. Now I will never get it installed in time to activate it free. Anyone have any tips?

GOT IT! Now I have to figure out why I had to turn off Comodo even after I’d given it permission. User error, I’m Sure.
