Hi bubulah - try using Revo Uninstaller to uninstall, as it performs a deeper removal of registry entries. Make sure you download the free version (there's now a Pro version that's not free). Good luck :)

@104 - Peter, thank you for your questions. Please find some answers below:
A1:Yes, the minor updates are included exactly as you described.
A2&A3: The licensing is version based. It means that all minor updates are included in the price of the license. For instance if the user buys version 5 he/she is granted all 5.x updates. Plus the license never expires.
A4:Major upgrades are offered with a 40% discount to the existing users.
A5:Currently this kind of offering is not available in our price list.
A6:Licenses for any number of the computers are available. A volume discount apply to these purchases.
A7:GOTD users are eligible for a 40% discount when buying a major update.

Very nice program. Thanks for the portable version. What would make the program more useful for me is a stronger form filling/template ability. In particular things like resumes--more and more jobs are asking you to fill them out online which can take a long time. What would be really REALLY slick is if you could get some kind of self-learning deal on top of that so if you answered a question on a form once the program would remember it and fill it in the next time in the same way. How many times on these forms do I have to fill in "Have you ever been convicted of a felony? Or are you a U.S. citizen? Social Security number." Fed, State, Post Office jobs etc. ask for some of the same things. Plus it would be nice not to have to copy/paste elements of your resume. Be nice to be able to pdf your resume from Sticky Password too. On the business side it would be nice if after having gone to all the trouble to use say--Paypal--that the program had the option to aggressively apply and remember all the paypal settings automatically/a box pop up saying that you had paypal or so and so credit card on file and did you want to apply either of these settings. Anyway thanks again for the program.

Hey guys, thank you all for the comments, ideas, even the constructive criticism, we appreciate it all!:-) We also see that many of you do have some issues with the actual install and basic functionality. And cause the minutes are ticking, we cannot answer them all. We also know that the install process through our kind folks in GOTD has to be a bit different then the regular one from our web site, we will be glad to help during today, after the giveaway is over to any of you with such problems. Please be patient though as this was a great and successful giveaway and some of the answers will take time!:-)

Q1. are minor updates included in the GOTD release? (example v4.1.1.190 to v4.2.x etc)

The Giveawayoftheday.com Terms and Conditions, clause 2) says no upgrades for future versions, but upgrades are usually considered from v4 to v5, etc
_____

What are the license conditions for a purchased version?

I see on the web-site that previous version can update at 40% discount but what are the license conditions for those who've come to Sticky Passwords as a result of seeing it here at GOTD for the very first time.

Q2. is a purchased license good for 1 year/2 years etc, or for lifetime?

Q3. are minor updates included for a purchased (not GOTD) license?

Q4. are any Major upgrades included with a purchased (NOT GOTD) license (for example from v4.x to v5.x), or, major upgrade is free if bought within a period of time before a new version is released? (for example, 60 days of new version being released)

Q5. can a genuine Liftime license which includes major upgrades & minor updates be purchased? (for example: some companies charge 2x normal price to grant the user a Lifetime license)

Q6. Can a license (or Lifteime License) be purchased that covers all the computers normally used in a family or home environment? (for example our house currently has 1x desktop + 3x notebooks & 1x Microsoft home server (for backups)

Q7. is there any purchase offer or discount for a GOTD user buying a full license?

Many thanks
