I installed the program - TWICE. Both times it puts up the first screen - title screen, and then it dropps into a Postmortum program Debugger. Sigh. Well, I haven't the time to read all the comments to see if anyone else could not run it at all.

Off to uninstall it again. That was a wasted 3 hours of download time.

Installed fine, then I realized I left out one of the checkboxes I wanted (to add it to the Start Menu during install), so I went to Add/Remove Programs on XP SP2, ramoved it, ran setup again, and the only option is to install StarWindLite. If I run "StarBurn (Total)" it gives me a splash screen for StarBurn, indicates it is registered to a GAOTD user, then dings (like an error tone) and then nothing happens.

Anyone have an idea why it got fubar'd by uninstalling then installing again (with plenty of time left on the promotion today)?

Hi, I'm having trouble activating ANY software from GOTD ever since I changed firewalls from Zone Alarm to Comodo. When I try to activate the software it says it cannot connect and to check my firewall settings. Well, even DISABLING the firewall entirely changes nothing. No Comodo, no windows firewall, and it still says that it cannot connect. Any ideas???

well it is idiot proof. LOL!
I burned my very first dvd.
now my problem is that it will play on my computer but not on a dvd player.
it is a dvd+r disk
do this mean I have to convert the movie format to something else?
all my computer movies are avi files.
I clicked on burn video went on clicking in the wizard then it said it was not the right format, so I tried the burn data and it worked.
also all i got on my desktop was starburn total only, one double click and it opened completely. no crash, no hang up, no nothing just came open and ran.
probley beginners luck..crossing fingers and toes for luck..

Having the same problem. It installed ok but when I click on the icon to start the program I get the intro screen telling me that it’s registered to Giveawayoftheday, after that goes away I get an error “Failed To Create A Emptied Document” Any idea what this could be?
