It never worked. Yes it found the file but it did not restore the file. I then tried it as a wild card and it found all the deleted files, and it did not restore any of them either. No one is questioning that you were able to recover
pictures. I am glad the GOTD proved useful to you.

What I was commenting in post 35 was in response when you stated:

No hidden agendas just well intentioned people trying to steer

The pictures I had were of course fat files since they were on a flash stick, and I one day last week deleted them to make room for another file, but forgot what was on that stick. It costs but if you work with fixing people's PC's when they loose data or mess up their master HD. It is well worth the money. I have it on my flash drive.
