@Thom Porter, not trying to give you a hard time but try searching css slicing, you might be surprised.

As for the software, it will eventually be great, just give it time to improve (just look at sitegrinder).
As for the way it is now it's still good software for the price and well worth spending time on learning if you are into slicing.

Software publisher (SliceMaker, Laurent He), or GOTD Staff:

Is there any difference between this Giveaway and the SliceMaker Giveaway of April 27th? The version #s are the same...

Thanks in advance for any (knowledgeable) reply...

Impressive!! I thought I would be downloading and installing some watered down product this time based upon the description and venue (my apologies to GAOTD as most offerings are not 'the latest and greatest and state of the art'). What I found was a VERY complete and creative program. In response to #4 - this is not dated - this is bringing folks up to the new standards of CSS and DIV. In addition, allows folks to get there without having to first learn all the programming required for CSS (yes folks, it is a programming language just like HTML, Java, PHP, and all the others you would use on the web). I LIKE IT! Definitely one to keep in the old toolbox! If I could offer multiple thumbs up, I would. Again, I AM IMPRESSED!

@ #1 Hans: An offer is usually "rerun" if an abnormally high number of people experienced problems downloading, installing and/or registering a software when it was originally given away. This is what happened on April 27 with this software and, hence, the "rerun". If, however, you did not personally have any such problem (meaning it downloaded, installed and registered correctly for you) then you should have no need to re-install it. There IS a possibility that there was a minor version number change in the mean time, e.g., from 3.6.x to 3.6.y, but I couldn't be sure about that. Cheers!

For what it's worth, the web has moved away from "sliced up images" to more sophisticated styling options, such as Cascading Style Sheets (CSS.) Software like this is truly dated. Would love to see the publisher find a way to turn graphics into CSS, but I also realize such an endeavor would be beyond difficult!

Looks interesting but a pain that I have to login every time I open the program using the provided username and password in the Readme.txt file. Not really sure what the point of the login is. I didn't see an option for changing the password.

Is there a way to reinstall after expiry date as I have had to reinstall windows and now the setup files will not activate. Not speaking about this piece of software in particular

Good morning all! Excellent software. I installed it April 27th. Now it says "rerun". I´m confused now, because I don´t know if this version has fixed some bugs or is it the exactly same one from the past (so I don´t have to reinstall it again). Thanks for reading me. Have a great day!
