Works well as described - If you zoom all the way in to the pixel level, you can really highlight just the area you need fuzzed out.   Takes a little practice, but works better than doing it at the zoomed out level - (more precise.) It would be nice if the program allowed us to give the output file a name of our choosing as well as allow for multiple areas when using the 'select' tool - such as by holding down the Ctrl key while selecting additional areas ( please vote for this above if you also would like these features ).. You can, however, do multiple areas if you use the 'marker' tools instead. I also think this is a keeper.
