Doris, Download the file, unzip it, look in the readme file for instructions. In Win7 or Vista, you probably need to run the setup file as an administrator.
Good luck!

I'm late to the party so I doubt anyone will read this comment, but it seems like a great little program that doesn't make me paranoid by trying to connect to the Internet while in use. Intuitive and has some nice features like an easy copy of existing tasks so they can be quickly edited. For example, if you set up a reminder for the third thursday of every month, you can copy it and change to the fourth thursday so you're reminded at both times. A right-click on the system tray icon will allow you to quickly add new reminders too.

I'm not certain if the program needs to be active at all times in order to get reminders (I assume yes, but it would be nice to know.) It seems to use about 11-12MB memory while running in the background, which is reasonable.

Thanks GOTD and Abaiko Software.

Ok. I also do not enjoy reading post by users who ask questions that only apply to their situation and do not add anything for the general good, but..... I have downloaded and try to install this program over and over. Win7 (64); Comodo turned off; extracted; setup and then activate; activate then setup; with and without administrator run option; activate only; setup only. Downloaded 4 times, same thing. I get an error message when I try to run that says the "exe" file is not there and when I check the x86program folder, the "exe" file is not there (plenty of other parts of the program, but no "exe" file). I really tried to work this out before asking here, but if I have to be voted down for asking, maybe someone has had this problem and knows the answer. To that reader, I thank you in advance for your help.

Hi everyone,

Seems to be a new way of installing GOTD programs (the .gcd ?).
I'm personally not familiar with it, and don't know computers well enough to understand #25/GOTD's explanation of how to install it.

Is someone in the GOTD community able to help me - and I'm sure many others of us out there who are asking the same Q - and possibly explain in a clearer way how to install the .gcd for us newbies to it.

Thanks in advance :).. and thanks to GOTD all the GOTD contributors, including Giovanni - you rock dude! Thanks for the time & effort you generously give to us with what you contribute. Cheers Brother :)

This is a nice, simple little program that I believe will do what I need it to do, and do it well. Thank you, GAOTD and Abaiko Software.

I was a little confused when it came to activating the program, because when you click on Activate.exe it almost looks like it's trying to install the program all over again. But if you just click on RUN in that window, it activates it with no problem.

Thank you again.

I use my own Short date format of: yyyy-MM-dd ddd

Try it - you'll like it!

Of course, you can also use dd-MM-yyyy ddd
or MM-dd-yyyy ddd if you prefer.

However, this software crashes immediately with my setting. Only when I revert to standard date settings (as set by Microsoft) does it not crash.

I consider this a design fault in that it is expecting specific formats rather than accommodating customizations.

I hope the developers read this.
