i have installed and played with the software a bit….not underwhelmed, but not overly impressed.
i would much rather a reminder on my cell phone from Google calendar, rather than have the reminders wait until i get home.
if i happened to miss the settings part where it can text me a reminder at program will, please do forgive me :)
Sets up and runs perfectly on Vista Business system.
Doesn’t do anything more exciting than the calender on Outlook, but if you don’t have any reminder software and need one, then this one is easy to use!
I bought this software after the last time it was offered here, and I’m happy with it and use i daily (even hourly). It’s neat and I prefer it to the others I’ve tried (DayMate and NotesHolder, although I still use NotesHolder for notes).
My one complaint is that it consumes more memory than one would expect. Right now it’s 13MB, but it increases a lot with more reminders — I’ve seen it consuming 35MB until I emptied the history (where old reminders go). The number of reminders in the history can’t explain all those extra MBs, so I think there is room for coding-improvement here. Still, it’s a great application.
