It's a place where users can report their experiences with various Web sites and businesses. Comments there aren't all bad, but "phishing or other scams" is mentioned repeatedly. I like to try free software as much as the next person. But sometimes the price of even free software is too high. FWIW, I have tried three different registry cleaner/tuneup programs, including CC Cleaner, over the last 8 years or so, on four or five PC's. I followed directions and used them conservatively. Even so, whether on first, second or third use, every one of them ended up making me wish I had never used it.
