@ Fever Yes, I'm running Vista. Got that error when trying to install several programs. An Adobe add on, some kind of Java, an email program and Yahoo IM are ones I remember.

Great to see Ashraf back. First comment I read and Bingo! What a relief. I have visited your page though. As for today's software I won't downloaded and stick to my WinUtilities that I like amd may also try CCleaner instead.

The "fixed" page still stops you from leaving with 3 pop-ups.

I tried to page back so I could come back here, and the tab was locked up by their scripts.

A Web site that holds you hostage until you chat with a salesman? Would anyone here knowingly go into a brick-and-mortar store that locked the door behind you and wouldn't let you leave until you talked to a salesperson? Decent people operating a legitimate business would never do anything like that.

I went to Robtex to check on this outfit. The results aren't the least bit reassuring.

Here's the link for Robtex's findings summary.

Here's a brief excerpt from that summary: "Trustworthiness, vendor reliability, privacy and child safety of this site is poor"

Here's a link to the WOT site behind what that excerpt said. It's a place where users can report their experiences with various Web sites and businesses. Comments there aren't all bad, but "phishing or other scams" is mentioned repeatedly.

I like to try free software as much as the next person. But sometimes the price of even free software is too high.

FWIW, I have tried three different registry cleaner/tuneup programs, including CC Cleaner, over the last 8 years or so, on four or five PC's. I followed directions and used them conservatively. Even so, whether on first, second or third use, every one of them ended up making me wish I had never used it. So, I'm not inclined to want to try another one.

I ran the registry cleaner of CCleaner yesterday. Today I ran the registry cleaner of this program which found 887 problems which I fixed. Both of these programs have a backup feature in case something gets deleted that shouldn't be.

I believe this program to be another great giveaway of it's type.

I've purchased some great programs from 3B Software in the past.

First of all welcome back Ashraf. I hope you had a great vacation.
I missed your reviews. As for registry cleaners I use reliable ones daily.Such as in Glary and winutilities or Ashampoo's Winoptimizer.
These all to seem to work fine and have not created any problems or registry issues yet. I will shy away from this one. Since I see a comment with over 1180 registry problems repaired.I think this is scareware and do not believe that many registry problems really ever existed. This is my opinion only and it is possible to have that many registry errors or more, but seems a little too high from my experience.

Re#47 Michael 3B Software
"I am deeply sorry, someone uploaded a very old landing page on the website. I have corrected this issue and the most current landing page is on the site"

There is no excuse for not having an exit (close) button on your web page...
BTW, your OK key on the registration is blanked out and therefore it will not accept the given reg key in the readme.txt file.

For anyone having trouble exiting the web site, use the old "ALT F4" key to close the page.
