I cannot activate GOTD downloads. I keep getting this message:
"Failed to connect. Please try again later"- these generic messages are next to useless in narrowing down the problem. I have a really terrible DSL service and suspect its their problem but, I am able to connect and download on other sites so I am at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Freezes on my Windows 10 notebook.
All of these freeze, even when I change the animation speed, first to minimum, then to maximum.

Installed and Activated OK. BUT, "Initialization Failed" error message is displayed when attempting to run the program. Will not run on a WIN 7 Pro machine. Too bad. Uninstalled.

What's the difference of the unregistered copy? I can't find ANY sort of info on the linked homepage.

This won't run on my Windows 7. I can run the exe file but not the scr file. Windows Display Settings, when set to the Mars screensaver, don't run the screensaver.

As an amateur Astronomer (of 60+ years), I LOVE these "screensavers." Not that I use them as such; screensavers are no longer needed. But as Astronomical demos, these apps are tremendous. I use them in all my astronomy talks and have come to discover that they are especially valuable when introducing the night sky to kids & teens with Autism (and ADHD)! While most have a hard time siting still or paying attention, they'll sit quietly watching any of these space apps with quiet fascination.
So kudos & 5 stars to Rixane (& GOTD) for coming up with beautiful vistas that have captured the attention of a surprisingly unexpected audience.
These apps are truly making a difference to these smart, but vulnerable kids.
(As noted above, the Earth & Jupiter apps are also available free today. GRAB 'em while you can...)

Hello,
having the same problem as I have had with previous offerings from Rixane- I install the program, use the activate program to register the screen saver, but when I go to change the settings of the screen saver, the settings require a name and registration key. However, when I check, it appears that the screen saver has installed properly under the administrator account. However, this also means that it won't function properly if you use other (non administrator) accounts.
Can anyone think of a solution?
