Not what I had hoped for. It turned off keys that I use regularly. It is a great program as long as you don't need specific keys to function while using it.

For anyone who wants to make a professional podcast or atleast a podcast to make some impression on the listener, this is clearly NOT the program for you.

Though it can mix files, it cannot adjust mixing level and you can have only one adjustment for mixing thorugh outthe podcast.

Moreover, the license prohibits commercial use or use with commercial intentions.

For anybody who wants to make an 'impressive' podcast, i would recommend
1. Audacity- for recording and mixing content
2. Easy podcast-free and open source
3. For background music, you can google with following terms: "royalty free background music"

This software is not worth even a penny as there are others who can do it better and also for free!

It's quite good and easy to use. But actually you can't do much. So sad.

#21 Giveaway Team - it is so nice to see you on the front page again. Hope you do it more often! That was very nice of Ishta, and I agree with his sentiments - this is a wonderful project that you have created, and I thank you for it.
Cheers and Good Luck (and many more years!)

Nicely said Ishta. I would like to echo her words.

Happy Anniversary to the Giveaway Team.

I to have trully enjoyed my daily fix to see what's on offer. I initially downloaded everything. With the intention of checking it out later to see if it was useful, but ended up not bothering. Many of your giveaways have been useful though. I throughly enjoyed, wirechanger, and bought it soon after. Blind Write and Magic score were two others and a whole bag of converters and maintainance related tools have all been used frequently. I've also discovered programs that I never thought I'd need but can't live without them now, for example: Auto start, Sticky Password, Prev x and Buffer Zone security to name just a few of those I can remember at nearly 3.30am, lol.

I look forward to the many suprises that we shall see in this coming year.

Thank you lots giveaway team, you've done a fantastic job.

The 11th comment was uncalled for and just rude. Why come here if your opinion is so low of the site? We are offered a free piece of software that would normally cost us money. We aren't charged for using this site and the people here work hard to find us free stuff. Ishta said all that was really needed to say about this site. In the end people, just because you are posting on the web doesn't mean the rules of etiquette do not apply.

Thank you so much for this software. I will be using this to create podcasts with my students to help motivate them to write and record their masterpieces for their parents to enjoy listening to on their computers. The software is easy to download and easy to understand. Thanks again.

#16 I have found that some basic pre-vista packages fail to find Vista based High Definition Sound chips. My main suspect is when the Vista controls set the record and playbacks to incompatible formats like 24bit 196K samples per second, try reducing the sample quality and rate to something more conventional like 16bit 44.1K samples per second. That *might* be enough to make the sound sub-system visible to the less capable applications. I have not tried this days offering because I have no use for it so don't want to install just for the sake of it only to uninstall it again with the hope that the installer/uninstaller won't break my system some how.
