I had no trouble installing, but it isn't user friendly to me. I'm not clear how to make it work. It says something about "this tutorial" but then it doesn't go on to explain anything. Is anyone else having better luck?

Well, it installed on Windows XP Pro SP2 and ran without the above mentioned dll issues.

However, it isn't really a "podcast studio" as there is no multrack editor. How are you supposed to lay down your intros and outros, add sound effects and "funny" sounds.

Thumbs down due to no apparent multitrack editing.

It loaded ok for me.. no problems, XP PRO.
Don't have a clue what the program is for, but that is the glory of being retired, get it now while free, and find a use later..

To Jim (Re comment #37

Thank you. That was a very helpful tip, as I occasionally like to do a clean system install which means all the applications have to be reinstalled as well. I was wondering how I would be handling the free software in that situation

My first comment in 18 months of visiting. Thanks Giveawayoftheday. It is a really intresting program useful but does not play with Vista home premium unfortunately. However that wont stop me visiting your site even if too many software companies claim their stuff is compatible with Vista when they of course know it is not or at best are doubtful. This downloaded no problems UAC enabled because it is a helpful guide to focus your mind on changes you are making to your system. spywaredoctor and threatfire did not see it as any problem, No alerts about backdoor trojan ect.So potentially a very nice peice of kit for any one who's OS it is compatible with.

Install blocked by Kaspersky? As several others have commented, whats up with that? Theres just too many problems and possibilities with this download so I won't mess with it again.
As to Vista and UAC, mines turned off because, I'm the administrator and the only user of this new desktop. If I were to allow another user account on it, I'd turn it back on for my own protection of security to settings and programs. It's up to each individual owner of a Vista PC as to what to do with UAC, I just don't need the aggravation.
Give away and this vendor are having a real bad day again today, tough! I say test these programs yourself rather then trying to make us your guinea pigs.
