I have been after just this sort of software for a while now.
It looked hopeful - BUT it would only convert 11 minutes of a 45 min video clip.
So I paid for the full version - seemed quite cheap.
The window has now increased to 13 mins of the same clip.
The extremely badly translated instructions were of no use and the equally badly translated email from support didn't help either.
So far I have not been able to convert a whole file.

I've got a PC full of editing and conversion software, both here and at the office, but sometimes you don't want to have to open some big monster program just to do a basic video conversion. This program took a DVD I had saved on my hard drive, and in just a couple of mouse clicks, I had one small enough to fit on the video software my PDA, and it plays great. Thumbs up for me!

Really fast conversion. The little files are just fine for viewing on the Ipod. Great piece of software.

Thanks! I do like this program a lot! And if you say there are soo many of these they always put on, pick one, try them out, see which is better. I defiantly like this one +|

Thanks to #13.
I was originally poster #5.
It is nice when I pose a question and find it answered.
Since not every program meets every person's needs, comments such as yours are one of the more valuable uses of this forum.

Thanks so much for today's offer ... the download/setup and registration took about 1 minute on my Windows XP system. My daughter own's an IPod, so this program will come in very handy! This program does look easy to use and offers a 'help' file. We thank you both!

Not bad, does what it says it'll do and quite quickly. I could really do with Plato DVD Copier if GAOTD needs any ideas for further Plato software to give away (wink wink).

To #11
Technically today’s the end of spring break and I should be sleeping. But it’s 3:46AM so it’s not like a few more minutes of sleep is that important anymore. But I’ll keep this short and to the point.
SUPER from eRightSoft is a completely free converter. I even daresay that it has more features and supported formats than Mediacoder. It even comes with a built-in multimedia player. Although it’s somewhat slow (but maybe that’s just me, since I’m converting 200MB+ files that’re as big as my HP widescreen laptop) but the quality is almost exactly the same, and I never have playback problems. For lots of converters offered here before, the small dinky files I converted turned out to have screens that look like original shots from The Matrix. I won’t even bother with downloading today’s product, and just recommend SUPER to you. Trust me, it’s one of the best high-quality converters there are!
