While installing it insisted on installing a plug-in in my browser, not offering me a chance to decline. Therefore I stopped the installation and deleted the downloaded file.

Excellent program that does what it promises. It installed with a little effort on Windows Vista (claimed it could not write to a file while installing), but worked flawlessly.

Pros: Simple to use interface.
      Wizards for common collages
      Advanced options
Cons: None found so far !

Really good program. The cropping features make it very easy to make your photos fit into the frames and masks the way you want them to. Way better than MS Publisher for making cards and calendars IMHO.

I like it!

I can't compare it with others of its kind, since I haven't used them, but I can say this:
The interface was "intuitive" and I was able to dive right in and, in a very straightforward manner, make a collage that turned out just the way I wanted it.

(#23): > I’m not sure if you can use your own images for backgrounds, frames, etc,
Yes you can (see # 29 also). I generated my own background image and dropped it into the
(Program Files/Installation-folder)->background->tiles folder. I could then call it up just as if it were one of the predefined ones that comes with it.

(#29):> “Font Size” box is blacked out.
Huh? I was able to change font faces, sizes and styles, etc. at will with no problem.
Font size is a pull-down menu. Actually, I have a minor gripe about it: It allows you to input an arbitrary number, but doesn't honor it.
No biggie, though. If I want to change the size of the text, I can stretch or compress the text-box.

All in all, a definite "Keeper". Thanks, GAOTD. It's been a while...

This is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, I've been looking for a program like this for my Scrapbook of my wedding, my niece's and nephews birthdays and Christmas, this is PERFECT, way to go GAOTD!!! It was a little troubling at first, but once you get the hang of it and do a little adjusting, it works great, thank you...if you are missing the "layer" pane on the right, just use the "reset" feature under "view"...and you CAN make it as a greeting card or 12"x12" page...just remember EVERYTHING stretches out..but it's pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Installed and ran fine on WinXP SP2. Nice simple program for making collages and more.

No zoom or at least I can't find it. A search for the word zoom in the help file turned up nothing. I can't see if my images overlap properly unless I save as an image so I can bring the results into another application to look at high resolution image collages better. I wish the mouse wheel could have zoomed in and out on the project so I could see what I am doing as I work. Even on a large monitor I could not make out details around the edges of high resolution photos with masks to see if the overlap was adequate.

Effects are very limited for correcting photos so you really need to do the corrections in another app before using the photos in this software.

Calendar shows the month as a NUMBER??? I killed the month and year in the calendar settings and added text in its place to have it look normal.

Still, it's quite a deal for free. I've spent hours playing with the app today and have a few collages and a calendar to show for it. I give it a thumbs up.
