Your link is great (it helped me with something) but all the templates you see on that link are already in the program.

Anyway... This program is great, The only thing i need but is not there is to change background in a background i have as a photo...
But i guesss i have to play a little bit with the template files.

TO THE DEVELOPER...

An important problem: The aspect ratio of the output is NOT consistent! On a widescreen monitor, the fotos are stretched out and the text I added is hopelessly overlapped thus unreadable.

It is possible to resize the Internet Explorer ratio, but each resising creates an unpredictable aspect ratio. In some cases, the text I added was stretched out quite a bit, and sometimes the text is overlapped.

The same person (in the same foto) appears fat / thin according to how the Internet Explorer window is resised.

It should never be necessary to play with resising a window to make software work.

GOTD: I have tried a number of times to use your Idea Informer to place suggestions to developers but it never works. Thus, I placed this urgent appeal here. Cheers.

The "Restore" function isn´t useful as I always max the programs.

I wish there was a better quality of the music output, because 160kbps don´t sound good. The size of the output file will not kill newer PCs on download time.

Filled out their form and was told my code was sent. 15 minutes later. Nothing in the mailbox. Filled out the form again and again told the code was sent. 15 minutes later - still nothing. It's nearly 1 PM local time and I'm going to bed. Hope this isn't one of those "you have to register before the period expires" things.

Someone commented that it only works with Internet Explorer -- FALSE!--I NEVER use Internet Explorer, I ONLY use FireFox. I installed the program and ran a quick sample and it NEVER tried to open IE -- it only opened FireFox which is my default. The person who left that comment should check their machine settings.

This program is really easy and quick but I don't like all the transitions and I didn't find a way to change them.

Nice Program! Definitely a keeper for me. Installed easily on WinXP SP3. I did have a program crash browsing "my pictures" folder, which I isolated to an odd large png image file (30,000 x 3744 pixels). I tried resizing it to 20k x 2.5x pixels and it loaded fine. I don't have many images this large, so not really an issue. I created a quick swf file in HD (1920x1080) resolution, which looked great. I used a portable version of "potplayer" to test the video. Nice smooth transitions, very nice presentation.

I almost downloaded this. I need to make a presentation later this year that will include a long slideshow of many images. Unfortunately, it will need to play on a DVD player, and this program is unable to make a stand-alone DVD movie. RATS!

Oh well. So close, but yet so far...

ACDSee can do it easily.
You can attach a whole song if you like to any photo.
You can easily record your own voice message and attach to each photo.
So if you have 50 photos, each photo can have its own unique audio.

a few people mentioned needing IE. will this work with chrome?

I never received the registration email. It's been more than an hour and I'm going to move on. I have a basic gmail account and it is not in the spam folder either. Very stupid way to register when it relies on some mysterious email that never comes. I'm glad I waited for the email before installing, thanks anyway GOTD.

Wont run on xp64. Installs fine then crashes. But its for flash. Flash has been a problem since Macromedia sold it to Adobe. To many buggy versions and patches till the whole thing becomes a mess.
I no-longer program for flash for just that reason.

downloaded and my antivirus went nuts it found 3 tracking cookies and blocked it's access?????????????????????????

Also the theme preview has disappeared from the 'Basic' template page. Shame, looked a promising program :(

Looks interesting but refuse to install software that requires IE. Pity.

Installation goes smoothly ,got the key nd done....i add the pic and made a slide show.bt when i created a outful .swf file,the file was unable to play...flash playes nd media plyr were anable to play....help pe how the outpul files wil play and with which software?

Just downloaded it, I don't know why people are comlaining about toolbars etc, being downloaded without permission. I just used the
"Custom" install and un-checked the extras and they did not d/l. So far it seems pretty good. I had a program years ago that I used to make a slide show with music and it worked excellent but lost it during a pc crash. I am very excited about this one. Thanks GOTD for your gift.

tried registering with information provided by developers site and get an "invalid registration or code" error. What's up with that? Otherwise, install was simple and quick.

It is by far the best slideshow producer I have used that combines audio with each photograph.
It is incredibly simple to use, you can create the audio in the same screen in which you have selected the photograph, it is also possible to add text.
It produces sensible sized videos with very little effort.
If you wish to keep grandparents, similar to myself, up to date with family events that they will find simple to use you cannot do better.

Downloaded and registered (using my name, not GAOTD) easily. Seems like a keeper! One question, though - I can't find where to download "extra" templates on the site that another user here mentioned. Unzipped, this is 62M (yikes!), but I like the simplicity of this program. Most of the themes are too cutesy to use, but there are a few functional ones that look like they won't embarass me if others see them. A quick tour suggests that you can put a slideshow together very rapidly; however, I now need to embed these on a website and see if there are any problems for visitors.

Similar to #41 @ric, I've heard grumbling about Flash but never paid attention. I wish fubar, mike, et al would school me on this.

Actually, there are a number of things you can do to make use of the photo show programs - it is nice to send a copy to friends and family, but I agree with (#16), that you have them to look at and enjoy for years.

There are other methods you can use in order to get the "most bucks out of your" program:
1. make a video CD (VCD) or DVD of your program(s) and easily have the entire family view them in the privacy of your own living room, without having to download to their own computers or stand by your computer to view.

2. Place everyone of your sterling programs on their own web sites, so that the site can be visited via an individual's own computer.
You could put the URL of the site as part of your signature in all your e-mails, so others can view them if they wish. (This, or course, would be OK only if they are not private.

There are numerous free web hosting sites around and it would be easy to upload your program(s) for others to view. The URL below lists many of the free hosting sites that are available"

L33 #8: Copy and paste worked fine for me installing on Windows 7, 64bit.

I can't get the Customize in the Templates to work. It won't save or export to the custom templates area. I even tried to run it as an administrator, but it would never save. Is it not a full program?

The late Steven Jobs of Apple hated Flash and kept it out of iPhone.
So was he correct technically ?
What is wrong with Flash that made it so intolerable.

I tried the free version & trial version. Both functioning fine. There are a number of features I like and simple to create simple flash show.
BUT .. when downloaded, installed, and registered--all without problem on Windows 7, on HP Elitebook with Intel i5--the program keeps crashing when getting from the PHOTO to THEME if the list of photos has 1 with extension PNG! Without this one photo, the rendering seems OK.
Is there a bug fix in the future? I haven't yet try with other with other formats.

Am waiting for such a software from long ago. Thanks GOTD for this software.

Unable to install the program. I'm getting a NSIS error "Error Launching Installer". This is on Vista HP with NIS's AV program temporarily turned off (I know that Norton sometimes has problems with GAOTD's installation program).

I'll redownload it later and try again.

Seems like a good toy. This'll help in those nasty very-limited-deadline assignments.

Software downloaded, key acquired, and apparently i still need to upgrade my Flash Player.sigh.
The connection was unbearably slow and no matter how many times i tried, the Adobe page wouldn't show.
Now's about 11 PM here. I'll try again tomorrow-if i wake up early.
I'll do proper review if i can get the update within the giveaway time limit.

How does this compare with Photo Story For Windows??

Installed, but failed to work on Win7/64. Error due to requirement to run with a required flash player ocx component. Uninstalled, but not easily found (had to go to installed directory to find uninstaller.)

i come from GOTD.
i download the program.
i entered my email & my name and received a massage:
"Submission succeed. Your registration code information has been sent to your mailbox, please check it. If you do not find it, please check your Spam or Junk folder."
i am waiting about 7 hours to get my registration code information.
till now i do not have it.
who knows why?

Thank you so much GOTD and Anvsoft. This software has great templates. I had this on my wish list. I don't have any suggestions for improvement at this time, but it would be nice to have a discounted price for an upgrade to the platinum version. It does have some pretty nice additional features.

Just in Time! I can make photo DVD's in the place of Holiday Cards this year. I use this kind of program for "events" like anniversaries, birthdays etc. where you can have photo slide shows looping on the TV in the background while visitors are getting refreshments. Also know of someone who made a slide DVD when their neighbor's father passed away and sent it out with sympathy cards to the family members it meant a lot to them. Great Product, Thanks for sharing! As far as having to give your email address (saw a few comments about that) get a second email in "hotmail,google,yahoo etc" so all the ads go to your "junk mail" address and it keeps your regular email clean.

Great Program with good looking templates - We have the registered version where I work, glad to see it on GOATD. Only thing I have found is that it would be nice to be able to change colors on the templates, I haven't found where you can do that yet, still discovering other features that I can change within the program. The finished swf output is fantastic.

Decided to give it a try, but it requires Flash Player for IE, which I find extremely regressive given this is the end of 2011 and not everybody still uses IE just because they run Windows.

This requirement should be clearly stated. I went through their FAQ, but it's not even mentioned in their answer to the "Cannot install Photo Flash Maker. Why?" question.

Uninstalled and moving on.
