The BEST I have ever seen ... needs a little work and a few more features, BUT .. THIS IS THE BEST at finding REAL duplicates. I just couldn't believe what a great job it did.

I like many people had a problem with the Ram usage and the program gave up. I had seen what it could do in the time I tested it and was well impressed. I have 2 other duplicate finders and Phelix just kept picking out the doubles all over the place.

So I bought a full Licence and had no problem setting my Ram usage for a 2 GB PC. Phelix worked like a charm as I thought it would.

Thanks Phonome Labs and GOTD

Reply 1:
Dear Dirk, can you send me your phelix.vmoptions and error.log to phonome.labs@t-2.net? It's something wrong at your side, I guess. Also, how much RAM do you have?

Reply 2:
Dear Marx, we've been working hard for 1 year to develop this software. Phelix is not a freeware! - it's a shareware, and we actually need your payments to cover our basic expenses.

Phonome Labs,

Tks for the program.
I'm trying it now a few days, but still have trouble to let it work as it should.
I get after 1546 number the pink coloured message in the taskmonitor "Raised". After that message i use the go further button and then i get the same message at songnumber 1959. And so on and so on, at numbers 2004, 2012, 2070, 2098 2104, 2107, 2011 and after that the "go further button" is not working anymore. I did change the file in what you subscribed in -Xmx750m but no results.
Can you advice me?

Phoneme Labs:

At 67 You mentioned:

3: audio correlation algorithm: which would try to find the selected segments of music inside the whole collection of files? (support for music DJs and studios)

4: music management expert system (AI approach), which would help you to organize your music collections? (Edit tags, organize folders, …)

Sounds really interesting, since sometimes it is pretty tiring to try to crate playlists based on mood or genre. And more when you have music files (thousands) from different countries wich would be interesting to mix it in a play list.

Have you created anything yet?

Same thing happened to me: downloaded the new version from the website, like the Phonome team suggested when they emailed back my java heap file, and now the app is expired. It's too bad...I was in the middle of finally using it successfully when that message came up. I must have spent 2 hours getting the program up and running.

Phonome Labs team: I succesfully DL'd and registered yesterday's giveaway version 1.1.2, tried it, loved it. Today I saw your post about upgrading to 1.1.4, went to your site, found 1.1.5, DL'd and installed, and discovered the giveaway reg no longer works. Would have kept the old version had I known. Bummer.
