I’m confused. According to the vendor’s website, the password can be decrypted but not removed. On the other hand, if you cannot read or open the PDF, you will apparently be unable to remove the password and any associated restrictions.
Either:
1) I’m particularly stupid; or
2) The vendor’s explanation is self-contradictory and confusing; and/or
3) The product is useless to anyone in the situation of actually needing it.
WTF?
To add to the comment above, I downloaded and installed it just to give it a shot. Would not remove the password set on a pdf file created with Nitro PDF Pro v.7. This is worthless. It was a simple 4 letter password. No special characters. Only lower case letters. Nah.. Thanks but, no thanks.
What for do I need a PDF-Password-Remover which cannot remove PDF-Passwords?
And what is the alternative?
