It's a nice little utility and it does work correctly (a bit pricey though). What I miss as a feature is a possibility to set up an automatic scheduled backup.

Wanted to tell you my experience. Downloading etc was good. The other day I was just "playing" with the program for the first time and backed up all my e-mail. The next day I accidently hit the delete key after a "select all" for the preview pane rather than the message body. I was so upset. Then later in the day I remembered that maybe I had a backup. AND I DID !!! It was wonderful ! Thank you so much ! I will never be without this program again.

One of the great things about using Outlook Express is all of the great third party support for it, including this one! Nor have I ever had a security problem with OE either. And I started when v4 was released. Real tech savvy people could use anything anyway! It is the ones that isn't are the ones that have to worry. ;) -- BillW50

OK - good idea, but Outlook Express is dead, obsolete, etc. Does it support Microsoft Office Outlook? What about Windows Mail in Vista, or Windows Live Mail Desktop, which replaces Outlook Express. Is it supported.

This piece of software is history. Not interested unless it supports Live Mail Desktop.

I've been using OE for almost 10 years (though I've tried others) and I have never -- not a single time -- had any problem with security, despite heavy daily use. Most people get into trouble because they act foolishly, like not updating their system, or opening attachments. There are the "zero-day" exploits but they too typically require the recepient to open an attachment or follow a link. But by all means, if you can't stop yourself from doing stupid things, then OE is not for you.

It cut off the rest of my message!

Continuing from #31: it's weird anyone would want to use OE.

Just want to add my thanks and appreciation for all the great software! We have the opportunity to choose it or leave it, so why be so negative about what we can't use?
