Thank you very much! I was looking for a product like this. It works great!

Activate.exe does not work through a proxy server so I could not register the software. Maybe giveawayoftheday developers could extend it to cater for proxy servers (i.e. no direct internet connection)

Ok guys...STOP COMPLAINING!!!
This is a FREE service....
If you cant work out how to activate it after you have been told sooo many times, then maybe you are just not cut out for computer stuff.
Im 15 and have NO expiriance with computer stuff and i can get the things to work!!

Ben, exactly where are you looking for the activate.exe file? You will not find it IN the program you downloaded and installed. It's included in the ZIP FILE that you first downloaded. Go to where ever you downloaded and then unzipped the zip file, go to that folder on your hard drive. See the file named "activate.exe" in that folder? Double-click on that file to register the program. It's that simple.

I have my sons using this program. It is so easy to use. It will certainly put a dint in the (post it notes) company profits :-). Great program.

Why won't my Notesholder activate? I tried to activate it in the time period and it says it was activated. However, when I looked in the "About". it said "Evaluation Copy" after activation.

It eats more than 7mb of RAM!!! to much for such a tiny app.

One point about activating: if you already NotesHolder running when you activate using Activate.exe, NotesHolder's "Register" option does still say that the activation key is invalid (or something). Ignore that. If you exit the program, then restart it, you will see that the "Register" option is now gone and you have the full version with no nag-screen, etc.

Activate.exe is NOT supposed to include a registration key -- think of it more as a patch to register the program for you during the alotted time. Afterwards, it no longer functions which is why it's the "Giveaway of the Day" and not the "Giveaway of the Week/Month/Year" or what have you.

This is a full, registered working version of NotesHolder (and I tested it myself -- quite a handy little program!). You should probably get your facts straight before you MISLEAD other users of the site.

This is not a trial program. If you install the program and then run the activate.exe program which you'll find in the original zip file you downloaded you will see that this is full version software.

I haven't had a chance to play around with this yet but it looks like an handy little utility that I will get a lot of use out of.

My copy got registered and is now licensed to me (or to giveawayoftheday, really). It's not a trial, and it's not the lite version. Those of you who can't get it registered are simply doing something wrong. Can't say I understand how that possible though. The download contains three files, all with simple descriptive names. How hard can it get? (Well, actually I want to direct that grumpyness only to people who make assumptions, and not those who politely ask for direction. Also, granted the downloads have been defective occasionally, but always been corrected quickly.)

Nice program. Not sure I need it though since I've alreayd paid for a couple of similar programs.

if you would look instead of posting so much, you would EASILY see the activate.exe program. Just unzip. There are only three files(usually) that are in the zip file: activate.exe, setup.exe, and readme.txt.

I usually just unzip it, run activate.exe first, then run the setup.exe.
That works fine for me everytime.

This is not shareware, it is the full version.

Although I think I'll stick with Stickies(www.zhornsoftware.co.uk). It's ALWAYS free, so I don't have to worry about the program when I move to a new PC.

It is needless with such progs when you have notepad :P

Killer free program. I had found this program about six mounths ago and was going to by it. Glad I didn't I just got it for free. Thanks for the free program.

Answer: No, and No. This is the "Giveaway of the Day". You have the rest of TODAY and TODAY ONLY to install this program, and if you reformat your hard drive, you will see that the Activate program does NOT work after the giveaway time has expired.

Question: This is just a trial program! It keeps telling me it's going to expire in (XX) days or (XX) hours! What's up with that?

Answer: These programs are FULL, REGISTERED versions, NOT trials. You must run the Activate program during the Giveaway day to register them (or see other instructions in some cases). Once that's done, you are running a fully operational commercial product with no expiration!

Question: Some of these programs are lame! Why should I bother?

Answer: Come back tomorrow -- If you keep coming back you'll surely find at least one program that'll ROCK your WORLD. I know I have.

Very useful remind software, i use it to track task and to do things in my project (i'm developer) this allow me to follow a right distribution of resources between projects.

Nobody told about the possibility of take db note in a pendrive.

No problem for me to activate it.
But each time my PC is on the screen saver mode, I got an error message: "A Win32 API function failed"
Anyone has the same trouble?

frank, you can register it with "activate.exe" software. See your installation package.

this software is only good for 30 days. Then you have to buy it . There is shareware out there that is free.

Although there are much more variants of such programs (also for free), I like this one, because there are many settings. Within the options you can choose many languages, there is an alarm function etc.
