This is not a bug.
It looks like you are simply trying to register more computers than allowed in the license (2).

Still get the same message that this is a trial version. Very disappointed. I thought for sure this would be a great program, but until they fix the bugs and it does like it is supposed to, well, unfortunately I am without it AGAIN!

This software is a lot of fun, and very cool. The only thing I wish it had was an ability to designate a root computer and allow it to remote login or override the current actions of the other computer(s).

For some odd reason, the program would not install. I usually have
no problems installing GOTD offerings. I’m going to try unzipping
it to it’s own folder before trying again. I’ve never had to do that
with any of the apps from GOTD.

Hello Treat:
perhaps file copying would be more accurate for what Simidude does.
With Simidude open you just right click on any file or folder and it will show up as an entry in Simidude. You can then play, open, copy or install that file on the destination PC.
However, the link goes dead as soon as you close simidude …
glad you like the app, that was me starting that thread in the forums. Was a good offer back then, I do much less running around the house with the USB stick since then.

#10 the intention is all the computers are supposed to be on the same LAN subnet by optionally using the multicast broadcast addresses to share packets with multiple users without having to send duplcate packets to each peer. It might be possible to create an IGMP group that connected subnets could subscribe to and thus multicast messages could cross the inter LAN subnet barrier… but it is intended for participants to be on the same LAN.
