Not bad this installation recording principle . It's different and it can be useful in certain situations.
We wrote an analysis on our blog www.forfreeoninet.co.cc
Thumb up, at least for its innovative side .
Thank you GAOTD !

Yrral, I had the same problem and in my case the home page was completely useless. Trie a reply through the newsletter address but got no reply. And this is a program I've been looking for. If it doesn't put paragraph marks after normal lines, it might replace ABBY PDF Transform Wizard I also got somewhere for free (Advanquest, I believe). Otherwise ABBY does a nice job, not like some trial versions of rather expensive tools I obtained before. Some really do trash the page layout and can only be used for plain text. But then, there is freeware for that.
So, GOTD, what's up?

I checked at 08:00 and saw the PDF-to-word application, considered and dismissed it as not for me.
Today I returned at 07:59 and saw Netstat listed, refreshed and was shown todays GAOTD. Was confused. Returned to PC after running errands to check what had happened to the recent GAOTDs and found these comments about PDF being pulled and Netstat substituted. So I've missed downloading Netstat which I would have considered useful.

You should definitely re-run this giveaway. My newsletter said the giveaway for the 14th was a PDF to word converter so I didn't even click it. Then I get the one for the 15th and at the bottom it says the 14th one was actually this program. Only 2hrs after the giveaway ends. Not a very good system if you ask me.

My first GAOTD download. Did it with about an hour to spare. Gave it a quick once over, and it looks good. Installed and seemed to work fine on my Vista Home Premium machine. Too late to give it a thorough test, though. Overdue for some sleep. Probably too late for this comment to do any good, also. Still, thanks GAOTD. :)

Um,sorry to see about the PDF 2 Word glitch, and for those that want these same tools and about 200 more(just about every network tool an admin or user could ever need) might I suggest Net Tools which I have been using for years to diagnose problems and comes with all the above tools plus a Subnet Calculator, tools for diagnosing email and FTP problems, literally more network tools than I could ever list. Oh and it is free,so you can hang onto it and pass it to your buds. Cheers!

Nice to see they pulled the non-working program and will re-offer it once it's patched.

By the way, a nice Print-AnyFiletype-to-PDF program (virtual printer) would be nice one of these days!

Even Better... a SCAN-to-PDF program!

Thanks for taking care of business and enjoy what's left of your weekend SLAVA.

Good tool, GOTD! Many thanks!

Installs and runs as flawlessly on Win Vista Home Premium (doing Ac[t]ivate and Setup as Administrator) as on Win XP Home.

Beats having to open a CLI window and type (or mistype and correct) ipconfig /all or ping or nslookup or tracert as much as I've been in the habit of doing.
Gave it a thumbs up :-) .
