I cannot be very happy with this workaround as I am visually impared a bit and have to use large icons and texts on the screen. A side note: I believe the developer would better publish a pure bug-fix version free for those who hold a legally registered product, something like "Ncesoft Flip Book Maker 2.3.1.001", and the new advanced non-free version "Ncesoft Flip Book Maker 2.3.2" with all the new features and known bugs fixed. This way the legal customers would not have to pay twice for the same product if they are not interested in the added features but only want the existing ones working as expected. With all that said, the overall impression is very good.
