It is no doubt that Moyea SWF to Video Converter Pro is one of the best converter software I have used. But I think another converter tool "SocuSoft DVD Converter" is better than it.Compared to Moyea SWF to Video Converter Pro,it not only have the same function, but also it has its some features.
they have the same function:
1.Convert almost all video formats including MPEG, DVD, WMV, RM, RMVB, MOV, VOB, DivX, XviD, AVI to MPEG-4, 3GP, AVI, MPEG or other movie formats for MP4 player, iPod, smart phone or other media players
2.Convert videos at high speed with perfect output quality
Extract sound tracks in MP3 format from video clips
3.Change video and audio properties independently
the different of socusoft DVD converter
1.Multi-select files for batch conversion
2.Customize output video frame size
3.Split files into smaller parts
If you want to compare socusoft DVD converter to Moyea SWF to Video Converter Pro.you can visit at http://www.socusoft.com/socusoft-dvd-converter.php
in a word, they are both the excellent converter tools, but I like socusot DVD converter better than Moyea SWF to Video Converter Pro.

Well, I decided to download and try it. Does not seem to have all of the functions of Sothink converter and once I swiched to batch mode I can't seem to switch back.

The interface is too simple actuaally, it doesn't give you any indication about how to use the program. Again I'm new to SWF but just from comparing SoThink and this, I think the the latter has more functions and is easier to understand for a new user.

Thanks anyway, nice offer but I would suggest an better GUI for those who aren't that familiar with SWF.

Much Thanks to GOTD and Moyea, I think I will have to uninstall this one.

#41, dr vajra, U might have as well copied my observations exactly; I just didn't post; everybody goes silent on issues of SWF, FLV, MOYEA, Sothink...they never have issues. I never have any success in getting Adobe flash to show up as being registered, i do all U did as per the website instructions; I dnld and copy Adobe f in the prog folder directly; and always ever since last fall, I never get a run. the progs install, reg, but refuse to run because I don't have the flash installed...as if. Now this one does its own install and stops and says it can't do it , follow the instructions; well, rhyme with that: I don't follow U no mo'. print that, but U won't, U talking machine from down South with self- righteous requirements while hypocrites bang on live people and developers and the dumb software gets away with it...I am a man! IAM : not a man.

I tried to install in Win XP and the install gets stuck on active x and just sits there. I waited about 10 minutes and nothing happens. You cannot cancel active X or it says install -setup will stop. The only way I could get out of the program was to cancel with Task Manager. So I think it has some bugs in it. I can't imagine a program that costs $99.00 not being able to install. I will skip this program!!!

This software tried to install other unasked for software as part of the installation. This is not the behaviour of a software company that I would trust. There are enough free software out there that this is a company that I would stay strictly away from in future.

Since, unlike Fubar, I hsven't a clue how to "block" this
download when it tries to do naughty things -- I guess I'll
have to pass on it.

Now I'm starting to wonder if my last Moyea download was the
cause of several computer problems I had around the time I
aqcquired it.

Moyea, it sounds to me like you need to change your tactics.
Or do you prefer scaring away your customers?

If you downloaded Moyea SWF to Video Converter Pro let me suggest that you check out Moyea's Free Video4Web Converter.
They are comparable in features but perform the opposite function. Video4Web Converter will allow you to take whatever format you converted to and convert it back to a flash format after editing suitable for use on the web.

Overview of Moyea Free Video4Web Converter

Having said that, I think it's a bit odd that none of the software listed at swfkits.com/products are listed on Moyea's official website.www.Moyea.com/products.

Hate to lose out but I need one or the other not both. If I recall both of these products got good reviews.

Thanks to all.

I have the paid version, and keep it updated. Been using this for years. Between this and format factory is all you need. ALl of Moyea's stuff is great software. When I was running ME I would have a problem of it not always converting the audio file. But no problems since that OS.

d/l and installed. Weirdness... does not recognise or play any flv on computer. Also have Moyea Flv Player installed and when I have the current GOTD offer open and select a file and hit open...it plays in the Moyea Flv Player. I tried associating all flv with Moyea SWF to Video Converter Pro and then they simply did NOT open.
I have been eyeing this software...too bad.

Installed fine with WinXP 32bit. Locked up the first time I browsed to my music folder, but worked fine the second time. Not sure if this is better than others offered over the last several months or if it is just more intuitive, but it's the first swf converter I've found that actually worked for converting some old swf sound files to mp3. This seems like a great program. Very happy since the files were from the website of an obscure band that is no longer around and an album that is out of print. Now can listen to them with my mp3 player.

I finish my scanning of entire computer with UPC Smart guard and don't find something bad.Soo my concluzion is that soft can be possible in future to be vulnerable in security(IObit security 360).But many softs even brand are probably more or less in the same situation. This is one from reason why they update soft from time to time. From my experience on the internet i found many free soft malicious that work with flash. In this categories are present:flash convertors, flash decompilers and vulnerabilities at :flash web players but i'm sure that is posible in this categorie to be infected soft.Majority was from East what i found, probably the same situation in West.

Wonderful! I've been wanting something like this!

Given that I love Moyea FLV Editor Pro, I couldn't wait to grab this one.

The main problem I've had with other .swf converters is that they just don't work very well. There would be issues with quality, jumpiness, or sizing issues.

The problem I've found with .swf programs that export to .avi is that the quality is horrid. (Swishmax & SoThink SWF Quicker)

Moyea SWF to Video Converter Pro to the rescue!

I've been wanting to add some effects made in Flash programs to my slideshows made with ProShow Gold and my videos edited with Pinnacle Studio, what hadn't found a conversion programs that works well converting .swf's to video formats.

Until now!

I just did a quick .swf and then converted it, and am happy with the results!

Thank you Moyea and GAOTD!

Thumbs Up!

The only concern I have is wondering if it did anything to my KLite Codec Pack. I hope not. I've had to re-install that a couple of times after trying out converters from here.

Regarding red flags from WOT (Web of Trust) and McAfee's Site Advisor: although these warnings are generally accurate, I've found that some sites that download programs are flagged as 'dangerous' for the very reason that they ARE downloading a program.

Your best bet is to doublecheck the reason for the flag so that you can make an informed decision. In this particular case, Moyea is a safe site.

I don't really like to try rebranded software, much less rebranded AIO video converters as I don't trust their codec installations, and I already have Sothink SWF to Video Converter, which was a giveaway here a while back and works exactly the same way this program does, judging by the comments.

But, the price point was intriguing; $99.00 for a swf converter?? I was getting up the nerve to try it out when Fubar saved the day by giving the ultimate info I needed to make a decision.

Programs that install codecs to their own directories are fine, but I don't want any program changing any codecs I manually installed or installing anything to the system unnecessarily, so this is staying right where I found it. Thanks for being the guinea pig, Fubar!

PLEASE HELP! Problem in installing this program.

During the installation, I get this message:"FAILED to install Adobe Flash Player Active X startup".

This seems to happen when the program is
Registering:c:\windows\system32\macromed\flash\flash10b.ocx
FAILED to install Adobe Flash Player Active X startup.
For troubleshooting tips see http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_19166."

When I click OK, I get a new Moyea web page. Then, when I click on "setup". I get :"Congratulations. You are about to complete the installation" Then, when I click "Finish", the program does not launch. Blank!

When I go to C:\program files\ Moyea\Swf to Videopro, I see only one folder Xvid and a file Logfile.dll. In the Xvid folder there is a file xvid.ax. Nothing else.

I know I have ActiveX installed. I have also Adobe Player installed. I installed the latest Adobe player several times.

Is "Adobe Flash Player Active X startup" a different program?

I have tried the "Adobe tips" to no avail.

I am sure some of you may have had similar problem. Can you please tell me how to solve it? Can you pls write in detail, as I am not an expert?

Thank you so much.

For #24.Swf like flv are flash format. You can say video-audio.It is so use because it is small than some video format,it is economic for hard space. You can transform even pdf format in Swf and rezult for simple pdf is ~1/2 from Pdf.It can be an intraction with flash format and you can e infected, this is why the browsers have posibility to stop:flash, script and others. The best example is Firefox.Flash format is good and bad.Depend from intentions of peoples behind.Pdf2swf is open sorce soft who convert pdf in swf.Problem is that i can view this swf only with:Total video player.Gom player,KM player not work. But is small than pdf and you can write document like in pdf viewer.

I scaned with Iobit Security 360 smart mod and found that entire colection of soft that work with flash(swf, flv) it give potential security problems even brand products.Iorbit rezolve this by cleaning after analyze. Now i make scaning entire computer with iorbit and next with UPC Smart guard. It is soo tired to be beta tester for how work a soft and now for security.I can't download something With Moyea Flash Download, maybe settings for antivirus, firewall is too high.I think that i will renounce at Giveaway and probably at new products. What i have on computer is verified and sure products are enough for me.I will retired in Tahiti to relax on the beach.I don't want to scan my entire computer after each date when i install a soft.

Installed and ran fine on a Vista 64 bit Quad processor with 8GB of memory. I was sort of startled when all four processors went to nearly 100% during the conversion process. This indicates there might be some hefty minimum system requirements. However, it did fairly quickly convert a SWF to ASF format without shutting down my mail filter, Thunderbird and Firefox. I wasn't paying attention and didn't following the 1-2-3 interface. I just knew I wanted to convert, so clicked 3 and went through the motions. It worked, but that was when I found out that the settings were to convert to a asf file, which I can watch but that's about it. I was also a little surprised to find I only had two swf files on my computer (one of which SWF2Video didn't like), so SWF conversion is not a big deal. I'll keep it around should I need it some time in the future.

People who have absolutely no idea what the installation did are always claiming it was a smooth installation. It was a fairly clean installation, changing the XviD codec from System32 to its own folder, and adding one of its own special codecs to System32 (along with a version of zlib, which it doesn't actually use, it uses the one in its own folder). At execution time, it requests direct disk access, which I routinely block, and Internet access, which I blocked, and ran the Moyea Updater (no option not to), which I blocked. Incidentally, when rummaging through the Help file, the "Buy now" page was actually a link, and TrendProtect listed the site as dangerous.

Lots of options for how to get stuff--local files, IE cache, SWF Downloader, URL, etc. Lots of options for how to do the conversion, presets, overrides for presets, etc. Usually, there's a bunch of people who claim that the program doesn't do something which it does because they didn't examine the UI or read the Help file, so read the Help file. Can do watermarks with transparency, cropping, batch conversion, etc. I only did one conversion, went fine. I'm not happy about having to block everything for security reasons, however.

As there was no Game giveaway this weekend due to the difficulties that the game giveaway team are experiencing in finding developers willing to give away games, I’ve posted some freeware alternatives over in the games discussion forums.

To newcomers, you’ll find nearly a thousand free games that me, wizzard and reverseOrder (as well as a few others) have posted over the past 11 months and have personally tested to ensure they are safe for your system.

This weekend’s games include Tower Defense games, Real time Strategy (R.T.S.) and puzzle games. I highly recommend Warzone 2100, which I’d give an 8 out of 10 to, based on the quality and playability of most of the games we’ve posted over the last year, or if you're after a basic puzzle game, then X-It again.... or Brick Over Island may be more to your taste. I've also included a couple of tower defense(TD) games, one of which is more than just a TD game

Saturday:

Warzone2100 and Castle Defense

Sunday:

Brick Over Island, X-It Again…. And The Lost Castle

I'm enjoying this so much that I can't make myself stop & go to bed! Wonderful program! I'm thinking some company like Intel or some such should sponsor this program & let everyone use it free, as if it's done in an intelligent, non-intrusive ad, it would be really effective advertising for some electronics/computer oriented company. This program deserves some support! :) Most people would use this a lot if they had it! It's great!

The program loads okay but I'm wondering if it's the full giveaway version or if it's the trial version they're telling me to download which will run out after 30 days. Anyone know of a way to check whether or not my program is the registered version?

P.S. I uninstalled it and reran the original zipped download and it did the same thing again.
