The 256 size that started with Vista allows png image compression -- an ico file saved with model2icon = ~350 KB -- that same file opened & saved in IcoFX = ~ 118 KB. No editing -- just the effects of the png compression. * * * #19: "the 3d objects are just single colour shaded no uv info no materials or textures.which seems very drab.unless i have missed something" Don't think you missed anything, but, if you try to pack too much detail into the largest (256) version, the others in the file are going to look Nasty. * * * #21: "if you go to the site you can download a manual for it."
