Hello Blacktop,
For protecting your file with a strong password other than the word "demo" you require a license from me. When you create a protected file, these files are independent of the registration :)
You donot require the registration, not even the parent program itself to decrypt the protected files on another machine.
And ofcource the protected exe can decrypt and dump the original contents to a location of your choice without the inteference of the parent program.
The child(protected file) is completely independent.

Goodday

Arzoosoft Solutions

I see I see an interesting point in the licensing agreement for Magical File Shield 1.0, the Giveawayoftheday offer for 26 February 2009. According to the program distributor, Arecoosoft Solutions, a major advantage of this program over other file encryption programs is that a file encrypted by Magical File Shield 1.0 can be decrypted on other machines without a copy of Magical File Shield being on the second machine.

The licensing agreement associated with Magical File Shield states that the license applies to the program's use on only one computer. This gives a program user the ability to transfer his encrypted file to any computer that he is authorized to use. By virtue of the file being self decrypted if presented with the correct password, the program user has no excuse to carry his single we licensed copy of magical File Shield to any other place.

While the developers thinking is not particular sophisticated he has come up with a method where encrypted files can be transferred to any number of different computers and used on these computers while at the same time legally blocking any excuse a person might have for making a second copy of the program and transferring a copy of the program along with the encrypted file when the file is moved. This is not particularly sophisticated thinking, but it does show that the author thought about such niceties as being able to decrypt a file made by Magical File Shield when the file owner no longer has a licensed working copy of the program. This is not too bad a way of answering the questions we see on this website each time when encryption software is offered. The inevitable question, repeatedly asked, is always "do you have to buy program to decrypt files if the original program is lost or becomes corrupted"?

In the case of days Giveawayoftheday offering, Magical File Shield, there is no excuse to ask over and over the question I quoted above. Perhaps we can be spared hearing the same annoying post over and over again and maybe we will only be subjected to the annoying post by Ashraf when he says the same thing over and over again. I hope so. Oh, I hope so.

Just something I thought wasn't addressed yet, one thing that keeps getting mentioned is the .exe ability of the program. I think it's a great feature. The program works, and that is great to. My only bug bear with the .exe ability of the program is that I (and possibly others) can't encrypt a file on an XP/Vista machine and then de-crypt on a Linux system. It would be nice if that was added in the update or next program the author releases. Other than that. Use what you want to use, stop coming down on the guy for a bad translator, and for the love of all things holy stop suggesting programs that don't do the same thing as an "Alternative choice" as it clearly isn't when the alternative doesn't do the same thing.

A note to the author - Thanks for writing your program and taking the feedback of your users, to many programmers don't listen to user ideas. Keep up the good work.

AssChaff and others - I wish you would STOP making TrueCrypt the be-all encryption program. Its mode of action is nothing like this offering, and whether or not it's "Open Source" is totally irrelevant (and no advantage... OS only has a "community" advantage if it is fully documented so other coders can utilize your build. That happens only in theory in my experience. Anyone who has tried to develop an application based on IntelliCAD or other GNU software will attest to the difficulty

The biggest drawbacks I found to this nifty program is 1) you cannot drag and drop files onto the icon and have the program acknowledge them. You must instead open the program up first. 2) Only one type of security is available. Other than that for simple things it works well.

Another issue, which could be problematic with large files, is that it pretty much doubles the size of the initial file. Best Nick

#47, Ashraf, I also should have qualified AxCrypt's automatic re-encryption to the single file-open case (which requires an associated application), it doesn't apply if you decrypt the file (as in use the decrypt option; obviously, open decrypts). As for the self-decrypting executable, while AxCrypt can do that, it generally makes more sense to use the standalone decrypter instead.

Actually, except that the coding isn't very robust, I'm reasonably impressed with AxCrypt. As a security feature, it uses direct keyboard input only, so while, for example, Sticky Password directly supports AxCrypt and will fill out its fields, AxCrypt won't see that data, nor input from the virtual (on-screen) keyboard, nor pasted text. However, AxCrypt uses passwords and/or keyfiles. So you can use an easy to remember password with a keyfile stored on a USB flash drive, for example, to provide good security without too much inconvenience.

AxCrypt can encrypt all non-encrypted files in a folder (and its subfolders) by right-clicking on the folder (obviously, it's helpful to use the same password for new files). Rename on a folder will assign a random name to all encrypted files which haven't already been renamed in that folder and its subfolders. Of course, you can decrypt a folder and its subfolders.

"using strong Govt. certified strong encryption Algorithms."

rofl! Thanks for the laugh.
Wasn't it the government who made illegal some efficient encryption algorithms for a time because they couldn't decrypt it?

Like others say, use Truecrypt. It works very well, it includes some strategies of hiding very important files, and it proposes multiple very strong encryption algorithms.

#6/#13: Winzip or 7zip being better security than this? Simply not true. They ALL use up to 256-bit AES encryption, which is essentially impossible to crack when properly implemented.

#31: The only known way to defeat 256-bit AES encryption, currently, is to brute-force the password. In that case, you're only as secure as the password you use. Sure, if your password was "dog" then you could crack a file in three minutes. Good luck cracking a secure password though.

That being said, I'd be extremely hesitant to encrypt anything using trialware. If you ever have to reinstall, better hope you only used self-extracting EXEs! Otherwise you're much better off using something like TrueCrypt, which you can always reinstall.

This product, because it involves the self-extractor, is much superior to the previous offering. I hope the developer offers a free upgrade or cross-grade to that product to those who purchase either.

#29 Fubar,

Since Magical File Shield provides standablone executables, I was talking about the comparable feature of AxCrypt to create standalone executables. You can't automatically re-encrypt those standalones executables. Now if you normally encrypt with AxCrypt (not standalone .EXEs), yes you can/yes they do. However, as I said, I was focusing on the feature that makes AxCrypt a 'true alternative' to Magical File Shield and not the normal encryption.

Hi all,
despite its current law user rating, I found this application pretty easy to use and quite handy (the ability to create standalone self decrypting/encrypting exe files is not bad at all, taking into account that the award-winning TRUECRYPT doesn't have this feature...).

Of course the biggest CON of this GAOTD is that it's not OPEN SOURCE, so it's not the most secure option for this kind of applications but overall I give it THUMBS UP and not just because it's FREE...LOL!!

BEST FREEWARE ALTERNATIVES (all these programs are VISTA compatible except KRUPTOS 2, if I'm not mistaken):

- TrueCrypt (OPEN SOURCE so probably the best solution for encrypting files)

- AxCrypt

- Kruptos 2

- DPCRYPT 1.05 (cryption tool with very high security settingssuch as Blowfish, Cast256, 3DES, Mars, Twofish, RC6, Rijndael and Serpent)

- File Crypt 1.0.2

- CryptoSidekick Personal (2048-bit RSA keys, 256-bit strong AES symmetric encryption)

- iSafeguard Freeware 6.2 (secures your files and e-mails with strong encryption and digital signature)

- ZNsoft Crypto 2.5

- Flash Securer 1.1
http://www.download.com/Flash-Securer/3000-2092_4-10645676.html?tag=mncol

A program which allows you to secure your sensitive data stored on your USB FLASH DRIVE: since the data is encrypted, your sensitive data won't get into someone else's hands even if the FLASH DRIVE is stolen or lost.

KEY FEATURES:

· You access encrypted (secured) and normal data on the flash at the same time (no private/public switching)
· You don't have to remember any passwords as if it were not encrypted on your computers
. You can secure as many flash drives as you need with different passwords since Flash Securer can store passwords for as many flash drives as you want, for example one flash drive for backing up sensitive data, one for transferring it from work home etc.
· Off-line write - You can copy your data to the flash even if it is not actually connected using the “Send to command” in Windows explorer, as when you plug the flash drive in, it will be updated with the changes. .
· Password can be stored on any computer where you wish to use the flash drive so that the data is available without the password entered (and you don't have to remember it).
· Command Send to "Secure flash folder" in Windows Explorer allows to copy data to the flash easily and even when the flash is not connected. The contents of the image folder will be synchronized with the flash drive when it is connected.

- MyWinLocker 3

http://www.download.com/MyWinLocker/3000-2092_4-10841300.html?tag=mncol

A cool, light, and easy to use encryption tool with slick interface to encrypt or decrypt files with advanced encryption technologies (AES multiple file encryption, secure disk, password assistant manager, desktop search security etc....) which are accessible through a (VISTA) sidebar gadget or just by right-clicking on a specific file or folder.

- Advanced File Security Basic 3.1.4

Usable with all kind of storage types such as Hard-Drives, CD/DVD, USB Sticks.

- MEO File Encryption Software 1.10 (VISTA COMPATIBLE)

- STEGANOS SAFE ONE 10.0

Steganos Safe One 10.0 turns a section of your DRIVE into a protected and encrypted area, creating two Data Safes with 1 GB capacity each on your PC, Laptop, USB-Sticks, CDs, DVDs and so on, that is only accessible if you know the password required to access the encrypted DRIVE. In this way you can be sure that no one can get access on your personal data (photos, documents, music, video etc...) in case you forget your laptop somewhere or your laptop is stolen by thieves...LOL!!

This stunning program uses the Advanced Encryption Algorithm AES with 256 Bits helping you create HIGHLY SECURE PASSWORDS which you even don't need to remember since you can use a USB-Stick for a key or a sequence of pictures with Steganos PicPass.

- CryptDisk.4h 3.0.0.2

An encryption utility based on a VIRTUAL DISK created by the program itself within a file: everything you write to the created virtual disk will be encrypted transparently and then decryption is automatic as CryptDisk.4h automatically decrypts the data before it is loaded, but when data is written back to the hard disk it is automatically re-encrypted using two of the most proven encryption algorithms: AES-256 and Twofish-256. Very easy to use as multiple drives can be easily managed from a simple list menu, not to mention that after mounting a drive files can be dropped in and removed using Windows Explorer or just the drag and drop function.

- TRax File Guard 0.1b

An encryption utility acting as a safe-deposit box for your confidential documents and files for the windows operating system. It encrypts and password-protects any kind of files (e.g. text, document, application executable, and multimedia) using high secure 256 bit Advanced encryption standard with a single mouse click, enabling you to protect your files from being accessed by other people. TRax File Guard is compatible with all file systems including NTFS, FAT, and FAT32.

-WISeCrypt 1.4.6.18

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you want to find out any password-protected or encrypted files from your PC or network so as to check out how secure your protected files are or at least to verify that you still have passwords for your important files, these two FREE TOOLS can actually do this job effectively and professionally:

- Passware Encryption Analyzer 1

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Encrypting/Passware-Encryption-Analyzer.shtml

This is an excellent free encryption scanning tool that finds password-protected or encrypted files on a PC. With this application you can also verify that you still have passwords for your important files. If you need to unprotect one or more of them, it gives you the required password recovery module automatically. Full system scan usually takes less than an hour (it scans over 4,000 files per minute on an average PC) and can be run in the background.

- RememberMe 1.7

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Password-Managers-Generators/RememberMe.shtml

A free password storage tool that uses an AES encryption method to ensure that you are the only person that has access to your passwords, allowing you to create customized categories to better organize and retrieve your passwords.

And if you need a small and handy application for creating UNBREAKABLE PASSWORDS in a few clicks, using 4 hash algorithms, ACONIAC PASSWORD GENERATOR is definetely one of the best solutions for this, as the password generator is very easy to install using very few resources indeed with the additional option to integrate in the user's system a simple tool that can be opened when needed.

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Password-Managers-Generators/Aconiac-Password-Generator.shtml

Another good application to create numeric, alphabetic, alphanumeric or even special character passwords with variable length is also TUKANAS PASSWORD GENERATOR 1:

http://www.download.com/Tukanas-Password-Generator/3000-2092_4-10768061.html?tag=mncol

Finally, if you want to keep others from viewing your files but at the same time don't feel like going through the hassle of encrypting all your files, then I suggest you trying these TWO LITTLE GEMS:

- EASY FILE LOCKER

http://www.download.com/Easy-File-Locker/3000-2144_4-10872649.html

- MY LOCKBOX

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Security-Related/My-Lockbox.shtml

The first TOOL is an easy-to-use security software product designed for protecting your private files and folders on your local PC simply by keeping them out of sight from any possible intruder’s eyes. With its great protection, users will not be able to open, read, modify, delete, move, copy the locked files/folders, or even not be able to see it as the hidden files/folders will be totally invisible to all intruders and to any program even under Windows Safe Mode.

The second one is a freeware software application that allows you to password protect whatever file stored on your PC, as the protected folder (lockbox) is hidden from any user and application of your system, including Administrator and System itself, so it's impossible to access the lockbox locally or remotely.

The only downside of this GEM is that only one folder can be hidden, unless you want to change all the hard drive tree structure.

CAUTION: You MUST keep the PASSWORD you have set SAFE, since once you've lost it, there is no feature provided by the program to retrieve it....LOL!!

Cheers from Italy!!

#42 Here, sorry I forgot to mention I'm using Windows XP Home sp3. Ive played around with this program a little more and decided to keep it, its small quick..(Yeah right #31...12 GB, THATS HUGE, Steve I encripted 12 MB in less than a minute) Other than the give-away icon advertising that the file is encripted this is an excellent program.(Maybe the developers could look at that, ie leaving the encripted file's icon, etc, so that onlt on being clicked its true natre is divulged)

Just a note that Kruptos 2 requires .net framework and that a readily available, slightly older version of Axcrypt (1.6.3) will work on windows 95 through XP. No version of Axcrypt requires .net framework.

System AMD Athlon64X2 4000+~4Gig Ram~1TB Seagate HDD: Quick and easy download, registered without much fuss..(Shrugs here) Encripted a MS Office Word doc (just to see what happens) and yipper its encripted and password protected so this thing works but now there's a great big Magical File Shield icon where the file was, so now everyone else on this household computer knows I've got secrets... I'll stick to Truecript, uninstalled this one, thanks but no thanks. This program would have been a keeper if, once encripted the original looked the the same as every other file, but on clicking to access it, the nature of its encription became apparent.

You folks must know that many of us don't use an encryption app because we're the only user of our PC. I use Vista Ultimate with "Bit Locker".
For those that don't know what that is, it's about the same as encrypting the entire system. You guys and girls need to back the hell off of those that any give away is of no use to us.

thankyou for all the comments.
Honestly speaking, the webmaster's first language is not english, so we have got a bunch of spelling mistakes on the website.
These erros will be rectified soon.
But getting all these feedback from you people, we will be making this product better.

@Tom
there will be more algorithms added to it in future.

@all
the logic behind program is to make independent encrypted packages which can be accessed on any machines even without the parent program.
The encryption algorithm used is AES-256 bits and the hash algo used is SHA-256bits, both are certified by the Government.
If you still doubt that then please "google" up on these.
We make this product better on your suggestions, so all comments and suggestions are welcome.

Installed on XP SP2 system with no fuss.

I see it adds itself to the right-click, context menu. That is useful.

The .chm Help File is pretty nice, very glad he took the time to write decent and good looking documentation.

vvvvv
One potentially 'Very Bad Thing' - I encrypted my information, and to make sure I remembered the password, entered a "hint". . . . All sixty-nine (69) characters of it.
..
Then I tried to open the file. It displayed only the first 64 characters of my hint.
..
Now, why is that a big deal? You might be like me, the kind that would, just as I needed something in the year 2015, would tell my boss, oh I have the file! Yes, it needs a password, but I'm sure I can remember it. And the clue would be something like "Just think of what you always think of when you observ" . Oops.
..
So I'd recommend to the programmer, if there is a size limit of 64 on what you will let us use of the clue, then set a size limit of 64 on the text box we enter it in. That way, the user finds out about it when drafting the clue, not later when the whole clue is needed.

^^^^^

(Note to programmer and others: I really don't want to seem picky. But this is why we get a little, little bit nervous when we sense that something has been thrown together in a hurry, because as the saying goes 'the devil is in the details'.)

The program is good, I like it, thumbs up!

The drop downs in the Settings section - I know what is going on here, and I do approve, just felt I should warn you. There are places here where the drop downs would let you choose which encryption and hashing algorithms you want. Unfortunately, there is only one selection available, presumably because he never got around to adding another set of algorithms. . . . . The reason this is okay is I can picture the programmer whipping this up on the fly, and I'd rather he -did- make provision for future enhancements here; after all, a dropdown with only one option is almost the same as a simple text label, and aside from the ten seconds to check the dropdowns, didn't cost me anything.

The program is good, I like it, thumbs up!

Funny how people find one sentence to de-throne a program. Everyone knows there's no such thing as an un-crackable encrypter, so why carry on like it's the end of the world. Programs like these are more for personal use so others on their system can't view personal files. So unless you have a professional de-crypter sitting at your computer why worry about it? Since the program saves encrypted files as an EXE. file there's no worry of losing the program and not being able to access the locked files (Though if your system crashes the odds are they're gone along with the program unless you've backed them up to an external drive or burned them to disk. So go ahead and enjoy the free giveaway, and quit worrying about all of the nay sayers.

Exactly the kind of give away that makes me nervous! I lost a hard drive just last week. Gone, dodo dead, history! Luckily, it was empty at the time.
Encryption can be just as harmful as helpful. Yes, I know & do keep spare copies on other hard drives. Exact copies to be frank. One external & two internal in the desk drawer. I even keep a spare system for emergencies just like what happened to me last week.
I'm thinking, "it's a little too late to start hiding or protecting through encryption now". No, I'm not in any way implying that a program of this type isn't useful. This looks like a keeper for those in need. But what happens should someone with all or most of their files encrypted looses a hard drive or suffers a system crash?
Data recovery? Buy this to regain access if or when possible? Maybe a free program of this type is the way to go unless your planning on buying one. Just a thought!

Some of AxCrypt's options are only available from the command line or via the registry. Some of the more interesting options are anonymous renaming and the compression threshold. See the website under "Advanced Usage". The standalone decrypter/viewer only decrypts.

it's fine and welcomed that this is able to create self-decrypting exe file, the problem with sending it by e-mail could be, that some email systems (e.g. Gmail) refuse sending executable files as attachments for security reasons (exe could contain virus)

@#3, #7, #22 and everyone else talking about the sentence "Govt. certified strong encryption Algorithms":

The developer is not talking about the government actually reviewing Magical File Shield and certifying it. The developer is talking about AES 256 encryption method in general being "government certified". The developer is Indian. His first language is not English. Give him a break. He just means to say that AES 256 is a very strong encryption method.

Kruptos 2 is great, can vouch for that program as someone mentioned above.

So Basically this software is Encryption Software. What the hack is the word Shield doing there. I thought it was a Security Software.( I do not consider encryption as security).

What does Government Certified means?

Well I will give it a try.Just downloaded and installed without any problem. User interface is very nice.

Someone provide good freewares alternatives to it.

In reference to my above comment I would like to correct a typo. I did not catch it during my proofread - sorry sometimes I don't type what I am thinking. I just caught the mistake now after rereading what I wrote for the thousandth time:

First I suggest AxCrypt because it is open source, trusted, and works well, even if it lacks the ability to automatically decrypt files like MFS does.

should be

First I suggest AxCrypt because it is open source, trusted, and works well, even if it lacks the ability to automatically re-encrypt files after execution like MFS does.

The password is "demo" and cannot be changed.
How ridiculous for a security involved software item!!!

I agree with those recommending 7-Zip or AxCrypt. Both are open-source. AxCrypt supports more security features and can compress, can use an install-free viewer to decrypt, but hasn't been ported to other platforms. 7-Zip can create self-extracting executables, but is multi-platform, and can open the self-extracting executables as an archive (useful to see the archive contents, and for multi-platform situations), and of course supports compression and multiple files per archive, can optionally encrypt archived filenames, but you should use a secure-erase utility to delete the unencrypted files. If you have 7-Zip shell integration enabled, the correct option to use is to right-click the file(s), select 7-Zip, Add to archive..., the other options are for quick archiving using defaults, or for use with already existing archives.

Great wok.

Pro:
1. Simple and easy, all you have to do is drag and drop it into the window, press encryption.
2. Password hints < Magical idea.

Con:
1. It's slow at encrypting, my PC is roughly fast at X2 Dual Core Processor 3600+ Windows Vista, 2GB Ram.
2. To encrypt 1 file, took 2:50 Minutes, file size: 12057600Bytes

But, overall it's great, High-Grade encryption, takes some time to encrypt(But i don't think it would get much better).
It does the job, simple and easy.

The Good
* Simple and easy to use.
* Creates standalone self decrypting/encrypting executable files.
* You can batch encrypt or decrypt.
* You can set the standalone file to open, run and then re-crypt automatically or you can extract the file from the standalone.
* Uses the AES 256 method/algorithm.
* You can chose between a "protected" prefix or suffix.
* You can the option to keeping your original source file or deleting it after encryption.

The Bad
* Not Open Source
* Encryption/decryption/extraction gets very slow as the file size enters in the MBs.
* If the filename of the file that is to be encrypted is long, running/extracting the file will have problems.
* You can only add/drag + drop one file at a time.
* The first time I run the program after installation, drag + drop does not work (first time only - just restart program).
* By default, the original source file is left after encryption.
* No batch 'decrypting'.
* No option to automatically delete standalone executable if you don't want it after you extract the contents.

Registration and installation
Registration is odd a bit unorthodoxy. You must run Activate.exe then you will get the registration name and code that you must use to register this software. You can right click -> copy the registration code from that window and paste it into the registration box from the program.

Free Alternatives
TrueCrypt
AxCrypt
Kruptos 2

Verdict
Before I say anything else let me say TrueCrypt will always be king when it comes to encryption. There is no program that can provide the features and the security of TrueCrypt. If you need the highest level of security and peace of mind, go with TrueCrypt. However, TrueCrypt does not provide the ability to create standalone self executable files so it is not really a 'true' alternative to Magical File Shield. That being said, while I gave File Defender a thumbs up, I have to give Magical File Shield a thumbs down for the reasons mentioned above. However, MFS is a new program and the developer is constantly developing and improving it (he has big plans for it - trust me) so it will most definitely become a good competitor in the future. But for now, my recommendation for today would be either get AxCrypt or Kruptos 2. First I suggest AxCrypt because it is open source, trusted, and works well, even if it lacks the ability to automatically decrypt files like MFS does. If you don't like AxCrypt for some reason, then go with Kruptos 2 which is a viable alternative; just keep in mind Kruptos 2 is not open source (it is freeware though) and it is not officially supported on Vista.

The system requirements crack me up. Will run on a 60 processor or faster system with 8 Mb RAM or higher as long as you have Windows XP/2003/ or Vista. Either they think we are stupied or they are.

@#13.
you say zip from 7-zip can make better encryption ?
Well you forget the logic, that the author has tried to remove the link between the child(protected exe) and parent(Magical File Shield).
When you create a password protected zip file, you still require a zip extractor(winzip,winrar,7zip...) but when you encrypt the file with MFS you dont require any parents!
Simply the exe file itself is enough.
and AES algorithm is certified as avery strong algorithm by the government.

It is strange people make assumptions without reading what is posted above, in the description of the program it self it is written that the program uses Rijndael*-AES 256 bits, now this is a government certified encryption algorithm, infact one of the strongest and the best. Now what can be more secure than such algorithms ?

And apart from that i think the program is a lot different from Magical File Encrypt, it supports more files, algorithm is different and ofcource the logic is different- makes exe files, if it were to precceed as an Update of Magical File Encrypt then it must have the same algorithm or the improved version of the old algorithm and this app must be able to access the files Encrypted by Magical File Encrypt, but this program uses a completely different algorithm so it is a new Program.
It makes exe files of your data so that you can run these files on any machine without the need of the parent program itself.
It is not the same as its predecessors, infact it is much more better and more advanced.
Thumbs Up!

Hmmm.. the software is not very impressive because there are other ways to encrypt files more securely (ie. ZIP)

For those of you who want me to name a specific software that is freeware that can do this: 7-Zip

agree

Govt. certified
I bet that means that if the government wants to see in they can but your wife or husband can't.

If you truely want to keep your work private then write your own security method and it is not very difficult to do. anyone with a little thought can do it and that way you are the only one that has any idea what to do to get in. Just be sure you can rememver where the decripting key is.

Truecrypt really isn't an apt comparison since it doesn't encrypt single files. A better comparison might be Axcrypt or Securezip Express; both of which are free & both of which do considerably more than this. Bottom-line, there really isn't a need to pay for a program in this class; particularly one that doesn't have a reputation.

The mutilated English on their website also doesn't instill particular confidence in their product, but that concern might just be mine alone.

#7. It doesn't say WHAT government, does it? What with all of the data gone missing from the British goverment in the last few years It's probably this one.

This saves your encrypted files as an executable! YAY!!! So later you can use it without this program being installed, or on a different machine! Just needs your password! For me, that's THE BIG THING!
I once had an encrypted file I locked myself out of, because I had uninstalled it's encryption program, & forgot I had made an encrypted file with it! And of course, it was my work records! Not that month's, just the 4 years previous! I found it's encrypter program online a couple weeks later after many searchs, but had to buy the updated program to get my work out of encryption jail. lol :) If an error can be made, I have probably done it! :)Did the same with a backup program once.
A backup or encypted file is useless if you MUST use the same program to free your data!
THANKS MUCH for a great program! KEEPER! :)
