I was freaking out for sec. I’m kinda lazy when it comes to reading comments. I wish I would have read #4, #13, #23, #50 b4 I upgraded.

I guess they trick you by telling stating “free upgrades” so they won’t lose out on any profit. I dunno. The program costs $50.

Oh yea… you can get a free version if you comment 50 times or something in the LeaderTask forum. Ya okay…it’s really not that serious. I tried it…I think I commented like 2 or 3 times. I just gave up.

But I have to say…this program is awesome.

NOTE: The file extension for backups for LeaderTask is .ltb. If you need to load it, simply click File then Open, then browse for and click your most recent backup to bring back your data.

I got it the first time and like it. It has some features I wish would be added like printing labels to contacts… but it is decent well thought out software. Different but attractive UI.

I have just started an Open University course and was really hoping to find some form of organisational software to help me plan my study/meetings/deadlines etc.. Fortunately I found it with LeaderTask. It’s not the most simplest of programs but it is thorough and it does exactly what it says it will.

The only con i found when i downloaded the program was that there was already somebody else’s/demo entries written onto the calender and it took me a while to erase all of the data that they put on there.
Apart from that i am very pleased and know that this program is really gonna help keep me organised with my studies.

#6, #9, #32: I would never use any Google product which stores my personal info. (such as Google Calendar or GMail).

If you’re happy for Google to store your personal information on their servers even after you’ve “deleted” it, then fine; but I prefer to keep my personal data locally, or at least on a site that genuinely deletes it when I click Delete (instead of moving it to an eternal trash box).

Be careful about launching the upgrade feature. It claims there is an update, downloads and installs, but unfortunately it overwrites the GAOTD license and reverts to a trial version! Reinstalled from the GAOTD site okay, but tomorrow you’d be in a pickle.

@ 1 – Very constructive comment mate.
I use and like the Thuderbird “progie” and as prvious comments state, it is free. If you miss this “progie” try Thunderbird. You wont be disappointed.
