Yes there are lot of screen captures out there #1, #2 and most do not work consistently or save in the same amount of format as Jet. PicPick is buggy and FastStone Capture is NO LONGER free and works with Windows 7 very buggily. I think a lot of these free compares are total boondoogles and should really be checked and validated... they are close to spam.

Thank you for this software
I have downloaded, reviewed both the website, and the tutorial. Because I work with offline clients in both photography and video adding in copy, I really think this software piece will really be useful. Many times I laugh at the comments on here because someone has given bad reviews without looking at the possible usefulness of the software. If you are working and marketing on the internet there are many software programs you might captivate in your corral and find a month or two down the line they become very useful. Think ahead about what the software will do and check it out don't just give a negative review. I think this software is going to help me and I really like it. Thankx again to jet Screenshot and the GOTD Team

Pro: uploads and saves link to clipboard
Con #1: if you forget to paste link before a new capture then what?
Con #2: individual link for each screenshot
A multi-clipboard would help.
.
I believe the best way is by utilizing Sky Drive or similar online storage.
In my case I have Faststone Capture, save screen captures and edits to a folder in Sky Drive on desktop. Which will be synced with online.
Could be 100 pix in that folder but it only takes one link to see them all. Until I make that folder private again or remove it.
.
Can also save a copy to pictures if needed.

"It’s hard to explain why it is cool using text"

This turned me away more than anything else. This is a RIDICULOUSLY unprofessional thing to put in your product description.

It serves NO purpose.

This is a useful program, for those who need it. Having said that, this version ("Home") stores your files for 6 months and normally costs $14.95/year.

The normal Free version stores your files for 30 days and the PRO version (#29.95/year) stores files for 1 year "at least".

People should also be aware of the following condition in their terms of service:

"You are giving us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, reproduce, delete, etc. your content or its parts."

Kind of takes some of the gloss off it for me. But like I said - useful for some.

Due to license only being for one year, I will not be keeping this one. BTW, it does not put an entry into All Programs List or a desktop icon, just a miniature icon in system tray and listing on start menu, FWIW.

To @41 Peter

This isn't a competition thing...both offer excellent opinins and opinions based on experience or knowledge or even research.... While one may offer free links..the other offers reviews...both are excellent in my book and both are welcome to express their views.

Keep up the good work Ashraf and Giovanni

Just my opinion on the subject..

What a great program. There are so many times that I want to send a photo or image to a company where they have those "Fill In the Blank" e-mails so you can not put an attachment. Now I can just put a URL in the return and they will get my image. This is great!! Looks like it may be worth jumping through those hoops to register. I dislike the only good for one year part. Except for anti-virus, I never had a program that expired.

One thing occurred to me after rereading my above comments: One might say, 'Yes but you can do all of that remote help thing through Windows' Remote Access.'

The vital difference to me is that doing it using the Jet Screenshot method is that YOU will actually learn from the experience.
