Plus: Simple ready-to-use program, good user interface. Minus: it does not backup open files (e.g. Outlook) but in the end it says “Backup succesfully completed”.

It was funny, I don’t think they really wanted to give this one away….or it may have just been my network, but when I tried to download it three or four times….my connection would alway time out.

Oh well, I tried with the latest give away (another product) and had no problem.

It says it backs it up in ZIP format, which should be able to be opened by just about anything, Winzip, 7-Zip, etc. Make a small backup, split it into two chunks, and then see if you can unzip it all again – it should work.

Does what it says. Small, lightweight, easy to use.
My only reservation is what if you have to uninstall
the program for whatever reason, then you’d have to
buy the program in order to restore your backed up
files, yes? Not sure if this is true though.

I’d recommend it if need a backup program and can’t
afford one at the moment.
