As for those few whiners who rant about other browsers, your claims of intellectual superiority would be way more convincing if you retards could spell and use appropriate grammar. Your idiocy aside, the fact is that Firefox is only faster than IE on slow computers. Get a real computer and stop whining that firefox loads (but improperly renders) a webpage a tenth of a second faster.

And I have FF2, and the latest Opera version installed on my computer so I have tried out all three.

Just deal with it Firefox is better but you just can’t work with it, because you think it’s:
1. Too hard.
2. Too safe (what a reason…)
3. IE got tabs (the whole concept is stolen from Mozilla, confirmed by Steve Balmer lol)
4. You’re a friend of Bill Gates?
5. You’re too sticky to IE. You just don’t want to try it because most people use IE and you feel ashamed or a computer-nerd when you’re using it.

I personally like the Avant browser better than all the rest. I cannot open several sites with ForeFox and that’s my onlyh complaint with it. I have no trouble at all with Avant. Just my two cents!

IE (all versions) is way ahead of FF (& Mozilla). Yes, most web developers design for IE, and like Fubar says each has it’s pros and cons. I don’t like the look/feel of IE7 so I rolled back to IE6. I got tired of having two browsers because FF couldn’t open some of the sites I visited. With your security, firewall and (again like Fubar says) a little common sense you will be fairly safe. Can’t see the need for this program, either.

As to the program…I would say, if you’re worried to begin with, don’t allow IE to save the numbers. Simple. It’s not worth $30. I’d bet you could find shareware that does the same, if not more.

The most recent usage statistics that I ran across in a very brief search was this one from April, 2007, by comScore.

Long before some sadist torched a fox, the media kept hyping Opera as the greatest thing since the invention of toilet tissue. Year after year, I would download the latest version, only to find that it was useless garbage. I have a version of it on my PDA (in addition to other browsers), and it still sucks (I finally gave up on trying new PC versions).

IE 7 sucks, but the last time I bothered to check, its tabs were better than Firefox’s. Yo, #88, I can open as many tabs as I want in IE 7 (I know I’ve had at least fifty or sixty open), and my computer remains responsive. I also like IE 7’s zoom. But like I said, I’m not “loyal” to any one browser. I primarily use IE 7 because for every website that it screws up that I have to use Firefox to view, there are ten or twenty that Firefox screws up and IE 7 doesn’t. And if that’s because the websites were written primarily for IE, it doesn’t change the fact that IE 7 renders them better. What’s particulary amusing is that if you read back through the GOTD comments, you’ll see a lot of Firefox users complaining about not being able to access the Game Giveaway of the Day site from the link, whereas IE users have never had that problem. As for security, none of the browsers have great track reoords. The reality is, most security issues are due to user stupidity (executing attachments), failing to update, and not running two-way firewalls/anti-virus/anti-malware (which frequently effectively close browser security holes long before the browser vendors do).

Back to today’s program, Identity Knight. Like I said way back in post #19, I consider it a minor tool. It didn’t find anything interesting on my system, but it’s nice to have another scanner. The normal price is a big problem, considering how little it does. I think it should be bundled with other software, or made available as freeware to promote FSPro Labs’ other products.

Which is why this product probably isn’t all too great.

Btw, for all you FF users (I’m one of them) as FF becomes increasingly popular there will be more new attacks on users of FF, something to consider as time goes on, though I doubt it’ll be as bad as IE for the sole fact that producers of IE has to worry about windows problems as well, as FF makers only have to worry about FF.
