There is quite a few M4P to MP3 converters outthere, for converting m4p to mp3 file(s) format . I personally recommend SoundTaxi or WMAConvert. the software specialized in convert DRM protected music files like m4p, wma, aac, m4a file.

Read and follow the directions in post 156. I have tried many of the freeware recorders and this one is, by far, better than any of those. If you have unistalled the original download, you may be out of luck, but this program is worth $30 if it does what you want.

SUCKS!!!! This was a great program, that was supposed to be a complete free program. NOW we find out that this was only TRIALWARE!!!! Sneaky.. I went back to find the publisher of the program and I will NEVER, EVER purchase or download from them again.. Does ANYONE know of a freeware or paid OTHER version of this program. I’ll not purchase from these sneaks….

Now that we’ve been up and running again for about a week, I would like some advice. I record web audio to listen to in a car from a Rio MP3 player through an FM Transmitter. Not hifi, but acceptable for now. What codec, bit rate, sample rate, encoding mode and/or WMA setting would you suggest? I’m new to these terms, please forgive my ignorance.

Thanks “Beentaken” for the post. After following your link to the forum, I was able to get up and running again. Life on my rural mail route will again be free from the programming wasteland of commercial radio as I use this with an mp3 player an FM transmitter.
