I downloaded this when it was still available. Soon after I downloaded it, it showed that my hard drive was dying. I could see it slowly deteriorate over the days. When I saw that it was getting really really bad I backed up all of my important files. I Finally I had to call DELL to have my hard drive replaced. If this program wasn’t so expensive I’d definitely buy it. I’d recommend this software, but I won’t since it’s too expensive. I loved this program when I had it, it’s a shame I don’t have it right now. I really liked it.

By the way I have had to replace hard drive twice, try to avoid DELL if your buying a computer.

Rob (number45) Start Everes, click its Menu tab, select Computer and then Sensor, it take a couple of seconds and give you hard drive temps and fan speeds and even voltage values…excellent…

I installed this program succesfully, although HDDlife always shows my harddisks are in standby mode, even when they are really active. Due to this I miss lots of valueable information from HDDlife.
This program runs on a HP-Pavilion DV8000 with two Seagate ST98823AS harddisks.

Anyone?

To Snakestan (No. 23):
I have Everest and its related Aida32. You said that Everest gives temperature readings, but I can’t find temperature readings in either one. Maybe they just give so much informatio that I missed it. Could you tell me where the temperature readings appear in either of these? Thanks.

Every private computer has private information. :-) I will try to find out what HDDlife wants to send exactly. Maybe, there is no problem, but… :-)
