HAHAHAHAHAHAHA This is some of the most humorous Chinglish or Indglish or Ruskglish or whatever I've seen in a long time. Thank you for the great laugh ROTFLOL.

Seriously though - this could be the greatest developer's text editor since UltraEdit - but nobody is going to take you seriously because of the ridiculous attempt at a translation. PLEASE developers - if you're going to sell into English-speaking markets, hire a NATIVE-English-First-Language speaker/writer for all your copy-writing chores. They don't even need to speak your native language, as long as you can get a machine translation we can take it from there.

What has happened to the moderation? Nothing has been released for over 13 hours.
=========================
Downloaded, installed and registered without any problems (XP SP2).

I was most interested in their scripting as it touted using
Javascript as their scripting language. However, it looks
like more hype than substance. Has some nice features but
not much really unique that is not found in other freeware
apps.

Pros:
=====
Customizable toolbars (placement & content, vert & horiz)
Built-in HTML syntax checking (but a little flaky)
Javascript script engine (but no help doc for usage)

Cons:
=====
Error Prone web site [Makes one question the quality of their apps]
Dangerous "conversion"  of Unicode files
Ludicrous Annual fee €24 (~$30)
Inconvenient access to scripts
Missing basic math functions: Abs,Floor,Ceil
"Rectangular Selection" somewhat of a joke - three steps to copy, no "RS" paste

Freeware alternatives:
======================
NoteTab Lite  [http://www.notetab.com/]
  Tabs, RegEx, Full Script language (automate not only text editing but
  embed internet retrieval, on disk file operations, Windows registry
  operations, on disk editing, and much more), customizable toolbars,
  built-in multifunction calculator (cols as well as linear), block cut
  copy & paste, edit GB files. Std & Pro versions available. I use this
  app constantly (the paid version) and have written hundreds of clips
  to automate normal text editing as well as internet downloading and
  data extraction/processing. Also supported by active forums.

PSPad         [http://www.pspad.com/en/]
  Tabs, RegEx, Scripts

Notepad++     [http://notepad-plus-plus.org/]
  Tabs, REgEx, Scripts, User defined language rules, syntax highlighting,
  auto indenting

HxD           [www.mh-nexus.de]
  A powerful, small footprint Hex editor. Edit/copy files or raw disk media,
  edit GB files, view RAM by active app.

TextConverter [www.sttmedia.com/textconverter]
  [Just found this - from the website]: Multiple text conversions: char set,
  char encodings, batch conversions, insertion, replacements, RegEx, etc.
  The site also lists a number of other useful freeware tools.

I like that extensions can be coded in Javascript rather than Basic (or MockLisp). It doesn't bother me at all that the writing sounds like it was translated from Russian with the help of Google and a 1920's textbook; what does bother me is the character set handling that doesn't display the cyrillic comments in the javascript extensions properly and suggests strongly that only 8-bit character sets are supported. (Haven't found the documentation of how to write extensions yet, but have been too busy so far today to look properly.)

These comments are a treasure trove of recommendations for free text editors. I'm using PSPad right now (which I only found after hours of google searching). I'm pretty happy with it as a programming editor (mainly got it for the built-in hex editor), but I'll be trying out a bunch of the others that have been suggested to see if there's anything I'm missing. Many thanks.

I will pass on this one... The one year license and auto-renewer is just too far out! :o/

The screen shots *are* on there webserver.
Just view one of the small thumbnails. From the URL, remove "tm_" in front of the image name. (Right click in Firefox and select View Image).

This gives:
http://www.gridinsoft.com/images/screenshots/notepad_spellchecker.gif
http://www.gridinsoft.com/images/screenshots/notepad_autocorrection.gif
http://www.gridinsoft.com/images/screenshots/notepad_codefolding.gif
etc...

As others have noted... just poor unneeded php code :o(

I did try IntelliPad as another comment suggested. Uninstalled after I was unable to set it to use TAB character as TAB and keep a spacing equal to 3 spaces (how hard can it be???).

Now I use notepad++, bus miss an option to change to hex view/edit like in UltraEdit.

As usual Giovanni is um... brilliant.
What planet and from under what rock did these obscure developers come from / crawl out from? In today's world, for better or worse, they should learn english first and then C++, Python, Basic, Ada, etc ad nauseum.
But srsly, from Jan Goyvaerts site there's the ORIGINAL EditPad; EditPad Lite, EditPad Pro, and more... http://www.just-great-software.com/
And gee, if you want to code cheap html who would you torture yourself with a text editor?
