PacketTrap (http://www.PacketTrap.com) SNMP Scan is a FREE utility that discovers network nodes that support SNMP. The utility also displays basic diagnostic information about each node it discovers. Nodes which respond to SNMP requests can be stored and sent to other tools.

The first part of the test queries the system name and system description strings, the forwarding flag and enumerates all the exposed interfaces.
