MF Encryption Pad is a simple (and free) application that lets you encrypt and decrypt rich text messages using cut and paste. MF Encryption Pad uses 256-bit AES encryption with a key that it generates from the 'Pass Phrase' you supply. It can open and save both text files (.txt) and rich-text files (.rtf). MF Encryption Pad is create for keeping confidential notes, and for encrypting email or short instant messages.

With the Open SSL 0.9.7c library, developers can write applications that take advantage of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL v2/v3), Transport Layer Security (TLS v1), and a full-strength general-purpose cryptography library. Some of the encryption routines/algorithms are covered by patents.

Create self-extracting ZIP files optionally with unbreakable AES encryption.
The ChilkatZip Self-Extractor can safely encrypt the contents of your ZIP file with 128, 192, or 256-bit AES Encryption. To unzip, a user must provide the same password that was used when creating the self-extracting EXE. AES encryption is much stronger than standard ZIP encryption, which is regarded by security experts as being unsecure.
