With BookDB you can enter all your books with author, category, publisher etc and print them out in a variety of formats. Why would you need such a thing? Well, if you're always going to book sales and buying bargains only to get home and find you've doubled up, take a printout with you! BookDB has a super-condensed print mode so you'll need a magnifying glass, but at least it'll save a tree or two. BookDB also has lending library features. With them, you can add borrowers, loan out books, add multiple copies and so on. If you'd like to test these new features, just create a blank file called 'library.txt' in the same folder as BookDB2.exe and restart the program.
yGen is a combination text editor and compiler, generating finished files (be they html, text, php or any extension you like) from template files and includes. Includes can be nested, allowing you to build complex files from duplicated parts - without manually duplicating anything.
yWriter is a free novel writing program for authors. It allows you to break your novel into chapters and scenes within chapters. You can reorder scenes using drag and drop, and you can print out a number of reports (summary, synopsis, scene list, work schedule). Gives you a running word count per scene and chapter, and the built-in editor auto-saves your work.
yMail can be used as a spam cleaner for your existing email setup, and also as a standalone email client. yMail's spam filters use Bayesian techniques. You can show yMail which messages are spam and which are not (before you even download them to your computer!) and each time will adjust its filters to suit. After a few days, it will be able to sort mail quickly and efficiently without any input.
