UPnP Tester is an experimental tool which lists all the available devices compatible with the Universal Plug-and-Play protocol including Internet Gateway Devices (IGDs). As soon as the program starts, it searches for available devices then it updates the list as devices are plugged or unplugged. The status window displays miscellaneous notifications and the IP addresses as they are assigned. You can also select a device or a service from the list and click Properties... to get some information about it or to query a service. In the properties, double-click any URL to open it in your default browser.
Router Tester is an application to help DynSite users to accurately identify the path to the HTML status page of their routers. If your router does not appear in the list of supported routers in DynSite and the program figures out the path to its status page, please send me the brand, the model and the path to the status page of yours by e-mail and I will add it to the next update. Please read the included readme.txt file for instructions.
WakeUp is an experimental tool to test the features of ACPI computers. You can:
- allow or disallow suspend
- choose between standby and hibernation (if supported by your system)
- manually suspend your system
- have your system to resume after a specified amount of time or at a specific time
- configure WakeUp to launch an application or an URL on resume.
Note: make sure to quote the path to the executable to launch if it includes spaces.
This utility program will help you check all your media (fixed or removable like diskettes, zip, magneto-optical disks, or CD-R,...) and ensure that all your precious data that you store on them are safe and can be accessed successfully
