FixMP3 converts a directory full of sound files into MP3 files that you can play in your DVD Player. Many home DVD Players require particular MP3 format for MP3 CDs. This little utility converts your MP3 or Wave files into the needed format to satisfy many home DVD Players.
It has a simple little GUI interface and makes use of the LAME encoder to cross encode any
MP3 or Wave file into a fixed bit rate 128kb 44.1k resampled mono or jstereo MP3 file. The resulting files are larger than normal MP3 but smaller than Waves. You can use this to convert your ripped waves for materials you own. (See "Fair Use" doctrine in Copyright laws).
