I am a Realtor and have been collecting 4 simple pieces of data about our market. I would like to find some ( free ) very simple graphical software to manipulate this data collected from the last 2 years. This software would present the information in a chart/graph for easy visual understanding.

If you store the information in a database like Access or MySQl then it is pretty easy to create chart and graph. Else you can do it in Excel too.
