I may have posted my question to the wrong place. I activated Brave Piglet as usual then installed it with the setup file. What I got was a demo game with 30 minutes of play time. Do I need to do something else to get the regular game?

    Good morning team :)

The game activated and installed easily enough, but when I run it, all I get is a black screen and I can hear the game music playing in the background. I have to kill the game with task manager.

Any help (before the give away is over,) would be appreciated thank you! ;)

  5. Swan,

This problem is because your video card is having some problems running the game in full screen mode. Normally you would at least get an option to decide what mode (full screen or windowed) you want to run in - but through a huge assumption the developers of "Brave Piglet" just assume that Full Screen mode would be OK. (You do get a menu option to change back - but if you can't see the menu...)

The standard windows shortcut key combo to go from windows mode to full screen, and back again is: Alt+Enter

(It's most common use is with DOS command windows - when trying to read a 12 or 14 inch console screen on a file server, after no sleep for 48 hours - making stuff big is sometimes essential. In this case, we want to make a display smaller)

    Hi Bubby ;)

Our video card is almost brand new, in fact we only upgraded it about a month ago and I've always managed to run games in full window mode before that anyway.

I did try the Alt+Enter hotkey pairing that you told me about - but I'm afraid that does nothing on my system - Windows XP Pro.

I guess maybe I'll just uninstall the game rather than take up more of your time on this - it's not like we have a shortage of them here! ;)

    Have a great evening!
