    I've downloaded today's giveaway AVS DVD to Go 2 (Beta), but there isn't an activation key in the zip file like there usually is. Doesn't this one need an activation key?

    The way it looks, you must can't activate any of the GOTD software. I have downloaded a couple of the GOTD software and can't get them to activate.

  3. The key is displayed at the end of installation. Copy and paste it to a text document for future reference.

    You copy and paste the key to the activation link in start > programs > AVS4YOU > Activation.

    I can't make it work either. Whenever I try to run setup.exe, all I get is a box that says "This software is provided to you by www.giveawayoftheday.com. Connecting to giveawayoftheday.com: checking giveaway availability..."

    And then an error message pops up saying "Fatal error: key is invalid."

    I can't make it do anything else.

  7. Installed ok (I think) I downloaded after announcement of the "fixed" version being here.

    Activated ok (I think)

    Launched program:

    Splash screen opened.

    Then got small window that popped up with "_ASSERTE:" (minus the "" 's) in the title bar of it.

    Inside the window it says:

    "intf !=0 @c:\progra~1\borland\cbuild~1\include\vcl\utilcls.h\2916
    Press[Y]es to terminate, [N]o to continue and [C]ancel to Debug" (minus the "" 's) folowed by a Yes, No, & Cancel button.

    Choosing Yes results in another error message:
    "intf !=0 failed - c:\progra~1\borland\cbuild~1\include\vcl\utilcls.h\2916."

    Choosing No OR Cancel, results in another error message:
    "EAccessViolation."

    Anyone know what's going on?

    Thanks,
    DaletonaDave

    I think they are still working out this one. They are giving us another 24 hours to activate, so keep an eye out here and back on the download page.
