Firefox problems with Game GOTD

    Hi,

I can access the regular website for GOTD, but when I go to the Game GOTD page, it is blank under Firefox. Nothing that begins with http://game.giveawayoftheday.com/ returns anything. However, under Internet Explorer it works fine.

Has anything changed since yesterday that might cause this odd behavior?

    Thanks.

  3. Yes GGOTD doesn't want to load via Firefox. Internet Explorer still works ok. The site admins have been notified.

  4. It does work with FF, it's my default browser. Could you please provide more details (where are you from (ISPs))? May be it's a DNS related problem or limited connectivity...

I'm using Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11. It's my only browser and I STILL can't get the game site to open. Any suggestions? I'd really like to have this game.

I too am having a problem accessing the GGOTD site with Fx(2.0.0.3). No problems with IE. Fx is my default browser. FX brought up the GGOTD site yesterday just fine.

I use Firefox and am not experiencing any trouble with the game site, and I've been able to access it all morning.

I fixed my Fx problem. I disabled all my extensions. Restarted Fx. Restarted Fx, then re-enabled all my extensions. Restarted Fx and all was good.

I just checked again and it is now working with Firefox. Did something get changed/fixed?

    Just curious.

    Thanks.

Addendum - I didn't change anything or restart Firefox. It just started working. I would have to guess that it is server-side issues.

It's working for me with IE7 now, too. Thanks for whatever you did to fix it.

I'm having a somewhat similar problem. When I tried to activate Brave Dwarfs 2 it just wouldn't work. This is the first time ever this has happened to me. I got an error message that said that activation wasn't possible and told me to either try again later or check my firewall settings. Really doubting that it is my firewall as I even temp. disabled it and it didn't help. Is it something going on with the server?

I've played expansion pack 4 and got to level 50 which I can't beat so far.. love this game, now on pack #10 I've gotten to level 8 and now when I start it, it opens by saying press any key to start, and then my machine locks up.. never starts. Anyone got any ideas?
