Oh, I was just thinking abou that program!!!!!!!!
It is a good program, easy, nice.
I really think it should be on Giveaway of the day, even though the quality of games isn't too high. Its really good. I wish admin would look at this post! =P.Posted 1 year ago # -
A Gwotd Launch program. that will install/Delete the programs of the day from all thier (Gwotd) web sites and run them user friendly. also activate them (Four modes one run activate and setup, and two run activate.exe{seperate file from setup} three future gwotd use, four user install other programs that they are happy with.) This program will help save guard all the activate keys from deletion without interfering with gwotd procedures. There are programs out there that can delete this activated files ( I do not no of any) and people like hackers.

Also for the GWOTD Launch program a manual/auto download from website. goto website instanly. like i said above ( I do not know of any) some ideas work and others not.

Upon hearing of your suggestion, I thought it would be an interesting programming project. Here's the first version. It supports both Giveaway of the Day and the Game Giveaway of the Day. It'll also let you know if you missed some part of activation (such as a registry popup box). It's not fully automatic as there is no way to do that with so many different types of setup programs used and packaged in the GAotD wrapper package. Well, if you want to use it, it's available at:

The terms of use upon installing this software is quite simply, it's freeware and I've programmed it to the best of my ability. I cannot be held responsible if anything goes wrong. Please submit all bugs and feature requests to me at tjchan@gmail.com.
What this program does:
1. Check offerings.
2. Download offerings.
3. Un-zips the file.
4. Run installer(s) (this includes activation stuff).
5. Deletes files downloaded.As soon as you launch the program, it will connect to get ticker information. If the ticker does not show up, then something is wrong with your connection (it may take up to 5-10 seconds for it to show up).
Perhaps I should talk to the GAotD team and get this program to be official.
For now though it's one of those projects in which it was just plain fun to write and it was a challenge as I've never done something like this before!
