   Found another free game for everyone. This is Peggle with a World of Warcraft background.

   I didn't get a chance to play it, unfortunately it isn't compatible with Windows 7 64 bit, even using the compatibility feature. I tried using the vista and xp with it in admin. mode with no luck. I do notice that when I pop up the task manager to shutdown the black screen, I here the sound of it before it shuts down on its own.
   I'm thinking this is a display issue, since it is doing that. not sure

   Anyhoo, here's the link enjoy. Oh and for any WOW players, there is a link on the page for two free addons that you play peggle and bejewled in wow. I'm not sure how good they are. I still have a wow account, but haven't played in months.

   Thank, Tynnok... boy, you sure do come up with some good freebies. Of course it plays perfectly on XP... so sorry you can't get it to work. The levels look great! All new and designed around the artwork. I don't play WOW either, but I'll play anything Peggle! :)

   Thanks, Txnnok. Just downloaded/installed it and played a level. Like Midori said, "it plays perfectly on XP".

   Thanks for the great find, Txnnok! Peggle's one of my favorite games. I've already got Original, Nights, and Extreme, and now I can add the WoW edition to my collection. Even better, this edition is DRM free (although Peggle Extreme is free, it's not free of Steam). Just for the record, this game uses the engine in Nights, not Original. (I never knew they could do special effects with the background...)

   Thanks Txnnox, never played Peggle before. This version is great, the effects and sound with the WOW theme are brilliant. By the way it works perfectly on my Vista hp sp2 pc so it must be a graphics problem

   Ahhh, I it just will not play. I tried different resolutions, shutting off sli and phys x. All this did change how it was behaving. It was flickering black screen instead of having a straight black screen.
   I think it has to do with my 3d vision drivers. I don't have 3d on, but the drivers are a bit different then the usual nvidia ones.
   Oh well no biggie. I have another computer I can put it on. The Family computer

   Anyway, thanks everyone for the concern and I'm glad everyone is enjoying it.

   Thanks, Tynnok, Peggle is one of my all time favorite games. This is my initial exposure to Steam, and I got as far as entering the Product Code - where do you find that (or even better - what is the code)?

    The 50% off both commercial versions of Peggle (Peggle and Peggle Nighs) is well worth considering. Both versions are excelelnt. The first time I played Peggle took me back to the old flick a ball arcade games. Though Peggle is so much better. The 50% off deal is valid at Popcap till 17th July. I'll have to dig my Peggles out again. I've not reinstalled them since my formats several weeks ago.

    Thanks for the heads up on this Tynnok. There's another free version available if you have the Steam client installed. It's called Peggle Extreme. Open up the shop tab in Steam and type into the search engine field Peggle Extreme. It'll take you to the Peggle section where you can download the other Free Peggle game (I'm presuming it is a different version lol).

    Okay, just checked. The Extreme version is a different one based on Halflife 2's Orange box. Here's what you get with the Peggle Extreme version:

    Master 10 levels of "Extreme" challenges
    Conquer 5 Master challenges
    Play against a friend or the computer in Duel Mode
    Revel in breathtaking artwork and sounds from Half-Life: Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2
    Replay and save your best shots

    The offer was mentioned on these forums some time ago. Unfortunately I can't remember who found it at the time.

    @Face: If there is a Retail Steam edition of Peggle (which there probably isn't), this is where you should enter the product code. You'll need to purchase Peggle first before you can play the full version of it.

    For the original Peggle, go to http://store.steampowered.com/app/3480/ (Steam direct link steam://store/3480 ). Click on the demo button to try or the buy button to buy.
    For Peggle Nights, go to http://store.steampowered.com/app/3540/ (or steam://store/3540 ).

    @wrabbit: Peggle Extreme uses the original Peggle engine. There aren't any fireflies for you to capture.

    If you haven't gotten it yet, there should be a Peggle level pack on PopCap's website (I haven't checked in a long time, so I don't know if there is one at this time). Download it and install it for extra levels in Peggle Nights (Steam version supported), accessible on the fireplace.
