couldn't get in to Bigfish site?

Then I found this out..
"Big Fish Games has been down all morning due to a fire that broke out at Fisher Plaza, the largest data center in Seattle. Posting on GameBoomers.com, Big Fish Games Founder Paul Thelen said that power was out to the whole building and urged fans to be patient.

"The building is under several feet of water and they will not tell us when it will restore power," Thelen said. "We are in process of transferring all our data to our backup datacenter, but that is a 12 to 18 hour process as we have thousands of servers and massive databases of info to transfer.

"Fisher plaza is the hosting facility for hundreds of companies, so this is a major Internet disruption."

The building where Big Fish lives is now under several feet of water...

LOL..that is cute; BuBBY..
No one was hurt so that is good and they are apparently going to move all their data from Seattle to New Jersy(I think I read this correctly..lol)
Also they are going to offer free games on Fridays..so stay posted(It MIGHT be Saturday this week..)

It now says "We'll be back soon". Earlier, I gave up because I knew Firefox was going to time out trying to get the server. Now they just say they're down for "maintenance". They are NOT saying it is "unscheduled"!

Thanks for the info on Free Fridays. I'll have to keep watching them, especially on Fridays!

OK, I have logged in into the BigFishGames site. Now what's this talk 'bout Free Game Friday? I've been aimlessly browsing from page to page for a full 2 minutes, totally clueless at to what I should look out for...

Yes I will check them more often now too, especially Fridays..lol!
Idunno..
They look like they are still working on the site; as I could not access the forums at all(as others have said, over on Bigfish's Facebook page..)
I also didn't see any mention of the Free game either but heard that it would be a free game Saturday instead this week, so hopefully they will have it sorted by the end of the day!

The information about the Free games on Fridays is in the Blog (Home page, link on the left-hand side of the page).

However, it's not as exciting as it sounds. You have to go to Facebook, where you get a question. You email them the answer (which may involved downloading and playing a game) and a (single!?) winner is then picked from among the entries.

I just found that out Tizz! You got your post in while I was trying to log in. LOL

That stinks! All that publicity and excitement about a free game a week until August and it's only one person each week that gets a free game.

That's not worth the hassle.
