    Hi,
    I'm new here.... this Aston software looks interesting....
    1. is it free?
    2. is it something like windowBlinds or is it something else?

    Hi there and welcome, i myself have only been here for a week and yes all is free. But, please do some reading before downloading and even after downloading :). I have had noooo problems as of yet. I am not sure what windowblinds are but if you go back to the site, i see where someone else has mentioned that name. Good luck!

    I have just downloaded Aston and love it already.
