When I click on activate.exe I get activation module failed to connect to giveaway of the day. I've disabled my vista firewall even added activate.exe to exemptions but no avail. Cant activate the software and the clock is ticking :(

  2. What kind of internet are you on?

    Also try the IE hack.

Oddly, some applications are effected by IE's user zones, because of this they don't run in a way you want to.

To fix this open IE and go to tools, internet options, security

Then click on trusted zones, sites.

A dialog pops up, uncheck the box

Then type http://giveawayoftheday.com and then http://www.giveawayoftheday.com

    Click close.

    Then click apply and okay.

Then run the activate.exe file again.

socalmab, just a thought... Some have posted that having IE working in Offline mode will stop the activation from working properly. This applies even if you don't use IE and use something like FireFox or something.

Sorry Hawk555, but GAOTD asked us not to do that.

  10. BuBBY yes, this software is a bit intrusive with respect to some things already said.

Me I don't think it was worth the download and install, said with hindsight.
