   I posted a question in the forum (not sure what group) and I don't see it anywhere so I am posting it again here--hope this is the correct place.

   Why is a webpage for a FACEBOOK login being opened when I download a program? I don't see the "tie-in" and, since I don't use FACEBOOK, the FACEBOOK login webpage is useless.

   Maybe someone can enlighten me as to why this change was made and is there anyway to download without getting this webpage.

   Right-click the download link and then select "save link as" from the menu and the page will never open.

   Why Facebook? Money. Think about it as another ad on a webpage and use the right-click as your "ad blocker".

   While Chris is right -- part of monetizing GOTD -- perhaps another way to look at it is it's thankfully [IMHO Much] less intrusive than other sites that *require* a F/Book Like, or a tweet etc.

   I don't use FACEBOOK

   :) I don't know why... after all, F/Book's fearless leader just revealed one of his visions for the future, sharing your emotions with your friends via F/Book using telepathy! Oh, & he seems to have a personal interest in living/ruling forever. :)
