   80% of the time when activation is included in setup, activation does not complete. Not only does activation fail, my computer freezes totally, requiring reboot. Subsequent attempts at same yield same results. I do not have this problem when activate is separate from setup. Is anyone else having this probem and is there a solution? This has been occurring for months.

   I suggest making sure your firewall is not on during activation.

   What firewall do you use and what is your operating system (OPS)?

   Windows XP SP2 fully patched. Am behind Linksys router and am only using XP native firewall. I have toggled off and on and it makes no difference - my problem remains the same

   My PC one 2.400 CPU 2000 MB RAM one CPU 1000 RAM 256 MB it ok XP sp2 to 3,firewall pop up I give it ok & All-seeing-Eye,Spyware Terminater AV so on & it all go ok
