   Does anyone know any free program that allow me to cut out some part of a movie? Like some of the film I downloaded contain unnecessary scene so I want to delete it.

   Free Video Dub is great, but doesn't work on all videos. When that happens I use Movica

   as a pair, those 2 should cover most. though movica doesn't do avi, and from experience I know not all avi's can be handled by free video dub. like OpenDivx 4.

   one reason I'd like to see AVS Video Remaker as a giveaway, it gets some others choke on.

   last month, i had a friend who was asking the same question, so here is what i found for them:

   AviSplit (AVI Video joiner and splitter)

   AviSplit is an application for cutting and rejoining AVI/DivX files. Avisplit can split a large AVI file into more convenient pieces (you set the size), rejoin those pieces or extract a clip with a specified starting and ending point.

   Whether splitting, rejoining or clipping, AviSplit is very fast as no data processing is involved (lossless). Generally, using Avisplit is about as fast as copying the file itself!
